I spent so much time on my Heisman Trophy rant, and it was so long that I decided to submit it as an article to EtherZone. It is now up. Thanks to EtherZone for their editorial tolerance for posting my non politics related screed.

Red, I feel your pain. It is as reputable as the Nobel Peace Prize……As an Alabama fan, I just don’t take it serious, even with Mark Ingram winning it in 2009. Reconstruction by the NCAA was complete that year, as it had been 47 years since George Wallace stood in the door of the University Of Alabama? How could they have given it to Joe Namath after the governor was a PC incorrect statesman?……………That was the year it became irrelevant.
So, we will simply keep adding National Championship Trophies that are relevant.
