Tancredo was just giving the president the tools to fight terrorism.
Remember-Fight to win or don’t fight at all.

The reason we are bogged down in a never ending war is because of political bickering, and because of that, we should withdrawl.

The problem with voting for PATRIOT and such is that they remain there after a threat is gone, and they’re tough to remove again. Things could be completely peaceful and the Federal boys still have the authority to spy on this conversation.

National power is an extremely slippery slope. One that’s best to slide down at all only when rationally deemed entirely necessary.
