Publicity Opportunity for the League of the South

Below is an e-mail from the League of the South:

The League of the South has a message all freedom-loving Southerners ought to hear. It is the message of Southern independence from a sinking, corrupt, and destructive government in Washington, DC. When our people hear this message, they usually react positively to it. After all, no one in his right mind wants to go down on an obviously sinking ship.

But how many of them never hear our message because the liberal media either ignores us or presents a very distorted view? As much as we hate to admit it, our organization is still unknown to most Southerners. Why? One reason is the clutter of mass information—we get buried beneath the crush of topics that dominate both the conventional news cycle and the internet. Another is the nature of our message. It is unpopular with the “powers-that-be,” including the news media; therefore, it is ridiculed, marginalized, or simply ignored. But perhaps the main reason we remain under the radar is the lack of funds to advertise our message.

The League of the South Board of Directors has approved a major publicity campaign. It will take money to do a test run of this project. Though we are not yet at liberty to divulge all the details of this project (mainly because we think our enemies would try to prevent it), we are to the point where we are ready to raise the money to fund it.

As President of the League, I am asking for at least 50 members or supporters to pledge $30 quarterly, $60 semi-annually, or $120 annually to this test project. Our ultimate goal is to raise $6000 ($1500 per quarter) over the next 12 months to put this publicity campaign to a real live test run.

You can make a quarterly or semi-annual pledge (for which we will send you a “coupon book” as a reminder of your pledge) or you can simply make a one-time annual donation for the amount you wish to pledge. Anything we raise over and above the necessary amount will be placed in a special fund to help with the continuation of this project.

Though initially we are running a test (which we will be able to closely monitor), we believe the project has merit and thus will prove successful in getting us out from below the radar and into the eye of the Southern public. I am asking you to make a pledge today. Once we have the necessary funds committed and all the plans in place, we will announce the launching of this important project, first to League members and supporters and then to the general public.

If we fund and plan it well, the project will draw a great deal of attention to our message.

Please make your contribution to the League office today by sending your donation by mail to: LS, PO Box 760, Killen, Alabama 35645 or by visiting our website athttp://dixienet.org/members/Outreach_Project.php.

Thanks for helping us with this publicity campaign. The best message in the world is ineffective if no one hears it.

The right message; The right time!

May God be pleased to save Georgia.

I suspect many disappointed Tea Party activists will find the League of the South’s message a breath of fresh air. Many are tired of the same-old same-old.

A hearty ‘thank you’ to Conservative Times for this post. Mr Bergeron, I think, is correct. Sooner or later, and I hope it is sooner, Southerners MUST come face to face with the cold hard facts of the cultural, social, economic, and politicial realities with which we struggle today. What are some of those realities?
One. The South was dragged, kicking and screaming against her will, into a centralized, soviet-style union that was, and is, solely of the yankess, by the yankees, and for the yankees. Two. Because of number one, we have never been, and will never be, viewed by the yankees as anything other than the suspect, despised, and exploited People that we have been and are. No amount of Southern blood shed, nor enthusiastic flag waving done, will ever improve our standing with them. Why bother? Why lick the boot that kicks you? To hell with them. Three. The yankees have so perverted and ransacked the system established by the Founders, and defended by the Confederates, that it is, without a doubt, irredeemable, irreformable, and on its death bed. Why continue to waste invaluable time and treasure trying to revive a dying patient? At some point, you must resign yourself to the inevitable and move on. Four. For the South, and Southerners, independence is the only sane and viable option remaining which offers even a glimmer of hope for a restoration of our lives, liberties, and property. Close your eyes and imagine what a Southern republic would look like and how it would function if it were not being robbed, beaten, ridiculed, and destroyed by an alien, imperial regime. Can you see it? Can you smell the freedom and the prosperity? It can happen. But first, you have to reject and despise the u. s. regime, its symbols, and its principles. Then, and only then, can you be free. God Save the South.

I am thrilled to see the conservative heritage times have a post from the League of the South. We can see the cesspool that big Washington government has given us. We need a breath of fresh air. We need hope. Yes, the League’s message is often marginalized due to it being a threat to the groupthink of society, since it encourages liberty, accountability, the Bible and traditional family values. Those things are a threat to the Washington elite who want us to be a polyglot society with no distinctive values and believing any new religion that comes along.

The big government war monger party is no better than the bigger government war monger party. A Yankee neocon president will no more save this failing republic than the idiot Marxist now in office. It is time to take a stand for Southern independence.

Amen, brothers and sisters! As our hero, Gen. Forrest would say, “Get ‘em skeered and keep the skeer on ‘em!” I believe that whether Obama or Romney wins in November, our poor misguided TEA Party friends will see the errors of their ways and some will look to us. Either Obama will continue heading toward Marxism or Romney and his neocon handlers and minions will reveal their true colours, further awakening folks. I’m optimistic, but we have an arduous trek ahead.

Is it the position of the League that the South will gain independence when enough Southerners vote to support such a policy?

Does the League and it’s well-wishers believe that the South can vote it’s way to independence?

After Ron Paul, Paulites will support Gary Johnson. The Paul camp is a big mix of former conservatives and radical liberals. I’d be surprised if one out of a hundred of them has even head of Virgil (or his namesake). And the radical libs in the Paul camp would rather die than support a Southern Freedom movement. Just speaking from a 30,000′ viewpoint. Vale.

You’re wrong about the Ron Paul people, Rusty. I have seldom heard anything but well wishes and positive feedback from Paul supporters when I profess my support for secession and Southern Nationalism.

Keep planting the seeds. maybe not in my lifetime, but one day a tree will grow and bear fruit for my progeny.
