When you are soooo good that you have a monopoly on morality, anyone who meets your disapproval deserves a good beating.
No, I’m not talking about the Neocons, but their domestic twins, the “antifa.” Both groups worship violence as a tool for reconstructing the world. Both also support totalitarian government as a means of creating and wielding unlimited power to control others. And both invoke the all-holy principle of universal rights and equality to justify their actions. They only argue about the immediate target: Do we bomb Iran or Alabama?
The leftist thugs who attacked a meeting of peaceful diners at a Chicago-area restaurant last month clearly conspired to terrorize and hurt innocent people. Here’s how one local report described the attack:
A horde of masked figures stormed the restaurant in a single-file line, wielding bats, claw hammers and metal batons — their presence announced when one shouted, “‘Hey, bitches, the ARA is going to f— up this place.’ ”
With that, the shrouded thugs went on a rampage, clubbing diners at The Ashford House restaurant on May 19 in Tinley Park. They did not discriminate as to the targets of their violence, even pushing an 80-year-old woman to the ground, according to an eyewitness who’s a former Chicago police officer.
Ten people were injured, some with head wounds.
Rather than feel shame for their cowardly attack on elderly people, the leftists and their supporters are proud of their actions. On their own web site, Anti-Racist Action proclaims the right to launch a “preemptive strike” against any who disagree with them (and the communist Worker’s World agrees). After all, their victims were guilty of crimethink. Totalitarians cannot tolerate independent thought, and overt dissent must be eradicated.
Of course, these people are driven not by idealism, but by self-aggrandizement and power.

Iran attacked our embassy an act of war under international law and Islamic law and custom. Their special forces and proxies have been killing Americans for 30 years in Lebanon, Iraq, and Afghanistan. And they call for our destruction.
There is nothing preemptive in stopping them from nuking our cities by proxy. It is the responsibility of the government.
To compare nuclear war, proxy guerrilla war, and terrorism to free speech is obscene and absurd.

What if some foreign power sponsored an overthrow of OUR government? Would that be okay with you?

Ron won’t be satisfied even if the US and Israeli regimes succeed in exterminating the Persians. He’ll then be advocating the same for the Russians.

I am generally not a fan of any pre-emptive strike. The prospect of getting the rationale wrong carries consequences that are too severe. Additionally, authorizing pre-emptive action can be a tool of mischief for adventerous leaders.
However, I am not sure there is any real linkage between the actions of governments and this ARA group — who do indeed seem to be random thugs.

According to the statement on their website, the members of the Hoosiers Anti-Racist Movement (HARM) are all white. This makes them racists by definition.

I just don’t see strong linkage between a group like this and the concept of pre-emtive strikes by governments.

No he won’t because the Russians don’t embrace a religion/ideology that calls for the extermination of Jews.

I think the “antifa” are inspired by the actions and rhetoric of the War Party. The thrill of posing as a powerful crusader for the oppressed sure beats playing by the rules and respecting the rights of others. BORING!

The “French Foreign Legion” had it right. Thugs that enjoy violence need to be in a combat invironment! Ship them off to the middleast so they can enjoy violent ideology that also has weapons.
