To clarify, my previous post was a joke at how Southerners are ironically condemned for embracing any part of their heritage. We revere such heritage as chivalry while nearly always eschewing slavery, acknowledging that every human society is imperfect. Yet, we’re condemning and hated for daring to exist, for having been born. That’s the truth of it, however melodramatic it might sound.
At the same time, South Africans defend “Dubula Ibhunu” as part of their heritage, and I was chuckling this Puerto Rican might defend her calls for murder as her heritage.
Seemingly it doesn’t matter the details. Southerners are always “racist”, and politically correct groups are always in the clear.
