Post your debate comments here. We already had someone mistakenly post a comment on an old primary debate thread. I haven’t watched the debate yet. I DVR’ed it, but the Facebook comments I have seen say Romney is doing well and Obama is struggling. Of course my Facebook friends are probably biased, but a lot of them are actually Ron Paul fans and don’t like Romney.

Addendum: Daniel Larison, who is normally very hard on Romney, even thinks Romney did well.

Romney critic Scott Galupo thinks Romney did well.

I watched some of it. It was really boring, and contained none of the real red meat issues that get people excited. The one exception might be healthcare, but most people find the details of even that tedious beyond the ‘what’s in it for me’ angle. I enjoyed, though, when Obama attempted to spin his medicare cuts as “cost control”. See, they didn’t cut benefits, they’re just going to pay providers less. Does this work on anyone?

Romney did win the debate, but I think the American people are the losers.

It is all about the horse race; the posturing and snappiest sound bite.

The fact that both candidates seem eager to ignore the Constitution and mold the Federal Government into a tool to support their personal vision of the American dream leads me to believe that we are screwed no matter who wins.

    Feltan,

what chance is there the Constitution will be followed? That’s a futile hope.

What’s needed is to just lobby them I suppose, if anything.
