We have occasionally covered the BNP here, especially when The American Conservative dissed them, so I thought this article on the travails of the BNP might be of interest. I haven’t been following their situation closely, but I have been vaguely aware that they were struggling.
A lesson for conservative Americans in all this is to note how often third party politics is fraught with schism, personality issues, etc. Also, there seems to be a critical mass that a third party must maintain or it crumbles. The BNP seems to have fallen below that point. Look at the history of the Reform Party in the US for an example.

Thanks for linking this. It’s a shame, but perhaps something positive will result. Democracy tends to pull opposition energies into the election process, but perhaps it’s usually wasted there. So, if a third party dies, perhaps it never mattered to begin with.
From what I’ve seen of Griffin, he’s a good man – a traditionalist. I bought several books from his party’s website when younger. To me it was one of the few trustworthy authorities. If politics doesn’t work out for him, I hope Griffin will continue to be active in the Culture War. There’s surely a place for a man like him.

I am actually a Grand Dragon of the Realm in the Ku Klux Klan and I find the racism presented on this website in articles such as this to be extreme and distasteful.
