The IOC Best Re-think Dropping Rasslin’ or the Iron Sheik is Gonna Beat ‘em Down!

The Iron Sheik isn’t gonna take the IOC’s pansy decision to drop rasslin’ lyin’ down. And if the IOC knows what’s good for ‘em they won’t step to the Iron Sheik. Please pardon the language, but the Iron Sheik is ticked:

“After 1000 years they take away the best sport in the world? This is the first time the dumb motherf**kers have no balls for they make the walking an Olympic sport.”

He adds, “If I see anybody on the street that work from the IOC I swear to the Jesus I suplex them put them in camel clutch break their back make them humble.”

“The #TEAMSHEIKIE respect the Olympic now they can all go f**k themselves and make the Curling Olympic sport because they all the biggest piece of no good s**t and I never watch the Olympic again. Also buy my t shirt [on my website] or go f**k yourself.”

Maybe next the Iron Sheik could threaten to suplex all the neocons who want to bomb his homeland of Iran.

    The Iron Sheik, after representing Iran in the Olympics of 1968, did come up through Gagne’s AWA–Mr. Scallon’s region.

    When you think about our mixed up world, the Iron Sheik, who remains a very proud American citizen–coach in the ’72 Olympics I believe for the US– dropped the belt to Hogan, but personally hated Hogan for being such a phony.

    Sheik was concerned that Hogan’s off screen ways–if they were found out (drugs, steroids)–would be very damaging to the kids who loved him. Of course that might just be a storyline to defend Gagne and McMahon, as Hogan left Gagne hanging to go wrestle for Vince–just as Iron Sheik had done.

    I know of Hulk Hogan at least, haha. Is show wrestling worth preserving? Does it encourage positive values?

    I agree boys should learn how to fight somewhat.

    I’d pay to watch the Southern Avenger fight Obama.

    The Iron Sheik settled down in the hometown of my youth, Fayetteville, GA. A lot of wrestlers settled there for some reason, Paul Orndorff and the late Chris Benoit for example. Probably because it was close to Atlanta, a wrestling hub, and the Atlanta Airport. The Iron Sheik has become a bit of an icon because of his tendency to say outrageous things. I suspect there is something mentally off with the Sheik.

    Oh, interesting; so you grew up with those celebrities nearby.

    Weaver;

    I have a friend who is just turning 40 who went through the professional wrestling grind–and he regrets it. His body isn’t right, and he never made enough money to justify it–it was quite the exploitative business like American football. He did train some names that are still around, and a funny thing, he has tried to keep it quiet with his employer, but youtube et al is starting to post everything and he cannot hide his alter-ego any longer.

    He has a wealth of stories though, and I use to get ringside to cheer him on in hopeless squash matches. He worked out moves with Rick Flair, got a two count on then champ Luger who was apparently the nicest guy in wrestling–little things that still are really cool…1 second away from heavyweight champion of the world…

    I can’t let that go–even though it was fake, like politics.
