The Inside Scoop on Huckabee and the Confederate Flag Issue in South Carolina

Posted under Election 2008 & Mike Huckabee & Political Correctness & The South

This article by Tim Manning was written before the South Carolina primary. It contains some inside scoop on how the the Flag became an issue late in the South Carolina campaign. For those who are unaware, a group of Confederate Heritage supporters bought some adds supporting Huckabee. This was apparently in an attempt to stop McCain more than it was committed support of Huckabee. Tim Manning is a Ron Paul supporter, and is upset that the Confederate Heritage supporters didn’t support their more natural candidate, Ron Paul, and didn’t do so earlier. I agree with him, although I don’t know all the personalities that were obviously involved.

I never saw the ads myself, but this is classic “Over-analysis” instead of simply voting on principle for DR. PAUL and allowing McCain and the Huckster to destroy each other…….Since the begining of this primary season, the GOP has kept the conservative voter off ballance by screaming, “But what if Hillary get’s elected!”……….Vote on Principle, and not like your picking a dog at the track……………I let the GOP spin me into not voting on Ross Perot, and have regretted ever sence.

Putting up the Confederate flag at my house will get the windows shot
