Posted under Election 2008 & Mike Huckabee
This is interesting. Since Huckabee at this point is less likely to win the nomination than either McCain or Romney, this says something possitive about Hunter. At least he isn’t cravenly endorsing someone in hopes of a Cabinet spot.

ERIC on 24 Jan 2008 at 8:35 pm #
As I said before, Hunter is right on God and Race issues.
Huck is right on God issues.
The other candidates remaining are not right on either.
But there is Paul, who is somewhat right on both issues but likely will not get the nomination/ or Huck has a better chance.
But I’m sure there are other reasons for Hunter’s decision.
War being one, in Huck vs. Paul.

God issues…race issues…
The way you write things out is kind of humorous, ERIC.

Why?

Hunter just wants a job as top Marine corp cheerleader..and I thought we had enough of those..ooorah.
Seems to me it’s just one underdog relating to another.
Surely no one in their right mind expected him to endorse Ron Paul ??

ERIC,
Well, I know of absolutely no one else that talks as you do, paleoconservative or otherwise.

The Tancredo endorsement of Romney, and the Hunter endorsement of the Huckster is a strong signal to the voting citizen.
Tancredo recognizes that he and Romney are far apart on many issues, but knows what is in the heart of the “Little Napoleon”.(McCain)
Hunter recognizes that he and Huckabee are far apart on many issues, and even knows that the “Huckster” is an absolute phoney on immigration issues!
WHY THE ENDORSEMENTS?
McCain is a nut!…..A true “Manchurian Candidate NUT”!…….And, both recognize that he will destroy America as Adolph Hitler destroyed Germany! Hunter is totally committed to the U.S. military, and knows that just like the dedicated and honorable German soldier of 1942, they will OBEY their orders. Tancredo knows that McCain NEEDS hispanic “Cannon Fodder” for his Napoleonic Ambitions!(Citizenship for all that go to the front lines!)
Also, there is a insider/outsider battle going on within the GOP that FOX NEWS and the official Neocon media central have a gag order on. The “Lobby” owns the insiders, and the outsiders need to be purged! Tancredo and Hunter were treated like “Traitors” by the “MONEY GIVERS” in order to snatch all of congress back into reality, regarding “WHERE YOUR CAMPAIGN MONEY COMES FROM!”…………Without a draft, EMPIRES need canon fodder to move forward, and they sure as hell ain’t comming from Harvard, Yale, AEI, PNAC, JINSA, or any other think tank that plans wars for the middleclass!……………….And even Huck knows this.(When he called the Club for Growth the Club for Greed)……………The GOP is IMPLODING!……And deserves to…….I look forward to what rises from the ashes.

I give Hunter credit for supporting someone closer to his views rather than his job ambitions.

Patrick Buchanan has a great post up regarding the real John McCain and the reality of him being worse than Bush ever was.

How about, “who is right on the Constitutional issues?” Wake up, people! read our history, read common law history, read anything other than contemporary, main-stream media. Ron Paul is the only candidate that will make a real change for constitutional principles and freedom.
roho on 25 Jan 2008 at 9:28 pm #
Tim…………..I love what you are saying, but unfortunately, we now exist in a culture of citizens only reading their text messages on their cell phones, and worrying themselves to death about whether or not Britney Spears will get to keep her children?………………The culture war is over……GOD! I hate it whe i’m pesimistic.
Weaver on 25 Jan 2008 at 9:34 pm #
The culture war will never be over until you and I are dead roho. The prize is our hearts and minds, and there is territory yet left for them to conquer.
ERIC on 25 Jan 2008 at 10:23 pm #
We needed an unapologetic culture war candidate who could articulate his message.
Unfortunately we didn’t get one.
Also I don’t believe there are enough racially aware white christians in this country.
I think we are past the point of no return.
We need a dictator that will do what’s best for white christians.
Andrew T. on 26 Jan 2008 at 12:50 am #
“We need a dictator that will do what’s best for white christians.”
I assume you mean a leader that will just send all of the troops home to gun down the minorites.
My, how Christian. Assclown.

Eric’s titles
God issues
race issues
are right on the mark in describing what the issues are.
I can think of some other good descriptions.
War issues
US empire issues.
Sex issues
abortion issues
Femmy issues
Jew issues

ERIC has a good point, and Andrew T has his normal emotional invectives as a response.
I just returned from Europe where I listened to some very interesting commentary about US politics . I kept quiet and listened. I was pleasantly surprised to see the rather broad coverage of Ron Paul, especially in Germany and England.
In England, my home, the radical immigration and “entitlements” policies which started in the 60s have manifested into a country that may be beyond return. People like me, who foresaw these problems with the coloureds, left the UK and will never return. In many large UK cities, the city councils are a majority of coloured and/or muslims. The problems with inner city blight and crime rates have increased exponentially as the coloured population has increased and taken over in many areas. White Britons should have heeded the warnings of MP Enoch Powell in the 1960s and rallied behind his theme “keep Britain white !”.
What has been true in the past remains true today – America is great because America is majority white; if America ceases to be majority white, it will cease to be great.
Weaver on 26 Jan 2008 at 9:24 pm #
I never understand Brits who leave to come to America, which is even less white, because Britain is overrun, lol.
You’re not the first I’ve met who has done this. I guess the grass is always greener though eh?
Andrew T. on 26 Jan 2008 at 11:45 pm #
America is great and it happens to be a majority white and that is certainly in its culture.
America is great “because” it is white? Give me a break.
Weaver on 27 Jan 2008 at 1:07 am #
When America is majority Mexican, it’ll become a different nation.
America is America because it is American…
We can have this debate over and again, but the laws are the outgrowth of the American culture, and once that culture and the people who nurtured it are gone, a new set of laws springing out of a new culture will replace it.
If you moved the American populace into Russia and the Russian populace into America, Americans would make Russia America and vice versa. Demographics is destiny.
Weaver on 27 Jan 2008 at 2:38 am #
The issue of controversy is but whether it is moral to act on such, that is: ought the federal government do something to defend the white (for lack of an better word) majority and Western culture.
That America will change as its demographics change though is a given. Is the nation something worth defending or is the economy all that matters, and indeed will the economy survive without a unified culture and specifically the culture that created the American economy? Those are the questions. And our freedoms are indeed a part of that culture, even if but morphed versions now produced from a dying nation. All of that will be replaced though when the new nation(s) arise out of the old America.
And another alternative of course to influencing the demographics of greater America is decentralisation or even secession, allowing smaller units to decide for themselves.

I tend to fear somewhat associating other writers on this site with my thoughts. I… think outside the box, or perhaps merely reside in another box, and enjoy thinking there, or maybe am even attracted to issues because they are outside there, thus unpopular. But, the majority of Americans don’t, and instinctively shun those who do.
I’ve seen how Paul gets in trouble for things said in his newsletter, by others, that are even antithetical to what he stands for. And the writers on this site have a great deal of potential…
Eric, you talk of God and Race, lol, I just can’t have such a conversation. For conservatives, the only safe stance is thoughtless working class nationalism or patriotism and more liberal, individualistic sentiments. Intelligent patriotism is simply taboo, and I cannot discuss it for fear of being later quoted and used against one of the others. Not that anything I think is relatively worthwhile, relative to the great men at the top of this website for instance, but my thoughts are outside the box… and intelligent, if not based upon as much erudition as the men at the top.

Weaver……….Your last 3 posts were on point. The “BOX” is political correctness most often, which takes truth, and shackles it. It forces the intelect to swim while dragging chain.
The British/American above spoke truth regarding the history of his nations policy of surrendering their “Culture” to another’s culture. Most the great wars of history were based on cultural change. We forced the native American Indians to live within the boundries of our culture. Before us, the Spainish did the same where that they went.
Political Correctness has trained us that a “Culture War” is taboo! Democracy has replaced culture, with one exception…………..Israel…….It is both a humanitarian responsibility AND politicaly correct to protect their culture without question!……(How is that Palistinian civil rights movement going?)

WEAVER – while the British immigration policies were certainly a concern in the ’60s, the primary reason for my move to the US was economical – better business opportunities. Those opportunities have paid off and I have never looked back. Quite frankly, I had never expected the problems of immigrants to become as immense as it has, every time I return to London I am shocked and dismayed at the deterioration.
Now I am watching the USA deteriorate into a third world welfare state – to where do I now move ?
Weaver on 28 Jan 2008 at 12:29 am #
Oh my apologies, I’d misunderstood.
Regarding where is left to flee, well northern and western Europe in general seems to have a brighter future, Russia and some of Eastern Europe too. The line “we’re a nation of immigrants” doesn’t sell as well.
A Swedish friend of mine living in the US tells me Swedes are the Mexicans of Norway, apparently Norway is rich with North Sea oil, and pays well.
Europeans seem to look favorably on America’s Christian zeal, but more is needed to make a nation. Brits I meet tell me Britain is lost, but unless the demographic records are off things aren’t as bad as is said, relatively speaking.
I’ve heard it said that if but one European state stood tall and refused further immigration, others would follow. I hope this is true and that this suicidal liberalism is but an age.
I’m concerned too with Catholicism and the UK & Ireland: will Catholics ignore the Vatican’s call for open borders? And even if the current Pope isn’t as bad in this regard as his predecessor, Patroon predicts the next Pope will be third world, and at the least I expect him to be an extreme liberal if not third world.
