“Dr. Paul is the only candidate I know of who would have signed the Constitution of the United States had he been there,†Guthrie said in the announcement. “I’m with him because he seems to be the only candidate who actually believes it has as much relevance today as it did a couple of hundred years ago.â€
He is absolutely right. It looks like a folk singer who is generally considered a liberal has more sense than “mainstream” conservatives. How sad.

The Guthries are Communists. Woody was Stalinist
and his son is no better. Woody famously had an anti-war record released on June 20th 1941. Nazi Germany invaded the USSR the next day, prompting Guthrie to have the record sales stopped.
I never got along with him, but I am actually related to Moses Asch of Folkways Records, who became Guthrie’s publisher in the 1944.

We all know who the Guthries are. So what? We can still appreciate it when one of them shows some common sense.

So, maybe the “rocks are crying out” because the “chosen ones” (i.e. Republicans) cannot see the truth of Ron Paul’s message–Freedom!
