For Those of Us Who Think Chuck Baldwin Would Make a Good Constitution Party Nominee …

Here is more proof. He is right on an essential question. One on which Alan Keyes is oh so wrong, BTW.

Although I do not share this opinion, many people believe Abraham Lincoln to be one of America’s greatest presidents (I think he was one of the worst). Personal opinion aside, it is a fact that Lincoln’s election and subsequent influence upon this country was huge. Therefore, it is more than significant to realize that Lincoln was first elected from a four-person race with only 39% of the popular vote. Even more significant is the fact that at that time the Republican Party was a minor party, having been formed only a few years earlier. So much for the argument that a minor party cannot win a major election.

After 27 years of being a Republican……………….I’m gone! The good leadership like Jeff Sessions, are having to fight within the party on issues like immigration, and the “Old Dogs” like Trent Lott have even been seduced by GLOBALISM…….Those like Lindsey Graham have shown that they are nothing more than “Whores” to the highest bidder, and GOP simply means “Gutted Our Principles”!

I’m not sure if seccesion is even a realistic possibility, or a bunch of dreamers, but moving my State may be easier than myself trying to live in Alaska!

I had rather put my energies into a third party than try to save a party of betrayal! To stay with the GOP is no different than a man with a cheating wife living in a world of, “TELL ME WHAT I WANT TO HEAR SO I DON’T HAVE TO LEAVE YOU DARLING!”………………..I’m gone!

CHUCK BALDWIN IS A TRAITOROUS INFIDEL!!!! HOW DARE HE SUGGEST THAT ABRAHAM LINCOLN IS “ONE OF THE WORST” PRESIDENTS EVER!!!! Clearly Lincoln was THE worst President ever. By a long shot. The only other one that comes close is FDR. :-D

I agree with Baldwin more – issue by issue – than any of the other hitherto named CP candidates.

Bravo, roho! I left in ’96 during Dole-Kemp. I went to the GOP Convention that year in Burlingame, CA and walked around the entire hotel, looking at all the conventioneers. I found that I had nothing in common with these people. They were party hacks, McCainites, not a conservative amongst them. How did I know? I can smell a conservative a mile away! Right then and there, I knew I didn’t belong in the GOP.

I like Pastor Chuck. I don’t know if he has the ego and drive to be the nominee, but I like him and I especially like his anti-Invader position.

Mr. Roho writes : “To stay with the GOP is no different than a man with a cheating wife”

If it was the same, then Mr. Roho could not write, “I’m gone”.

While the relation may be permanently altered as a result so that certain rights of the wife, such as that of conjugality, may cease to exist, nevertheless, a wife’s infidelity does not void the marriage vow.

Thus, by analogy, Mr. Roho would not be forced to vote for Republican candidates, but neither could he leave the Republican party or vote for another party’s candidate.

I suppose it may seem like a minor point, but misunderstanding the essentials, such as marriage is why the US is in the morass it is in.

I would love to see Chuck Baldwin win the CP Nomination. This man ought to be President.
