“This week, a video of an American marine laughing and joking while throwing a puppy off a cliff . . . killing an innocent puppy for fun speaks to a far larger issue.”

Now I’m upset. Murdering all those children is one thing, but an “innocent” puppy???

Any person who brings up killing some dog, as it is in anyway comparable to human life is a nitwit deserving of joining Trent Lott at the stake.

Our freedom as you mentioned, is not from democracy.
Not once in the Constitution did the Founding Fathers call or even mention democracy as the Number One Rule of Law. They did however, at Article Fou, Section Four of the U.S. Constitution say that the United States shall guanantee every State in the union a republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion of all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
If your comment as to dog’s being more important than children to you. You are either sick minded or you are making a feeble attempt to inflame passion. Either way it is unconscionable.
