If it is saved, it will first have to be saved from its leaders, as Serge Trifkovic warns us:
Topping the list is elite hostility to all forms of solidarity of the majority population based on shared historical memories, ancestors, and common culture; the consequences are predictable:
- the loss of a sense of place and history among Europeans and North Americans;
- rapid demographic decline, especially in Europe, unparalleled in history;
- rampant Third World (and in Europe, overwhelmingly Muslim) immigration;
- collapse of private and public manners, morals, and traditional commonalities;
- imposition of “diversity,†“multiculturalism,†“sensitivityâ€; and
- demonization and criminalization of any opposition to any of the above.The end-result is the Westerners’ loss of the sense of propriety over their lands.
And how do they accomplish this? The government indoctrination system — which we refer to as “public schools” — cranks out enough brainwashed converts who welcome multiculturalism as the inevitable wave of the future — even though the multicultural “ideal” is a fantasy of the American ruling class.
But the more insidious method is that of undermining the opposition, and that’s where they’re achieving their greatest success. They do that by convincing us that conservatism is a universal ideology, instead of the accumulated wisdom of generations which aims to preserve our traditional heritage. Look at the chief spokesmen of the universalists — Bush, McCain, Lindsey Graham — all Open Borders advocates, amnesty peddlers, and friends with La Raza.
McCain is the worst of them all. Let’s not forget his blatant pandering to the Open Borders lobby during the Republican presidential debates. In response to Tom Tancredo’s plea to call a “time out” in record levels of Third-World immigration, McCain dismissed the idea with, “It’s beyond my realm of thinking.” I suspect that for once, McCain was telling the truth. Cultural revolution is his one and only goal.
And how can we forget how McCain later mocked those of us determined to preserve our culture:
“A questioner asked Mitt Romney to explain his tough talk against illegal immigration, in light of political ads the former Massachusetts governor is airing in Spanish. This presented another moment for Tancredo to pontificate on the need to preserve the English language. When it was McCain’s turn, he couldn’t resist quipping, “Muchas gracias.”
Cute, huh? That was a deliberate slap in the face to Americans who do not want to be colonized by Latin America. And yet, he calls himself a conservative — at least, he does when he wants our votes. It is that bait-and-switch with genuine conservatism that enables the neoliberals and Neocons to convince us that America is not an historical nation founded on Western, Christian heritage, but the “proposition nation” that Abraham Lincoln imposed on us.
Both socialists and Neocons sneer at Pat Buchanan’s defense of the traditional America as “blood and soil” conservatism. These pro-amnesty ideologues have managed to turn “blood and soil” into the worst possible insult, thanks to enforcers of political correctness such as the Southern Poverty Law Center and a compliant corporate media. They know that by slandering those who seek to preserve our “historical memories, ancestors, and common culture” as racists, they are attacking the social cohesion that makes limited, Constitutional government possible, thereby paving the way for the authoritarian, socialist government they are determined to impose on us.
And it’s working.

So, what do we do about it? As Conservatives, we have all heard the diagnosis before. We know what the situation is. What is the cure?
Andrew T. on 15 May 2008 at 5:22 am #
“What is the cure?”
There’s a cure, but it’s not easily understood in the form of platitudes and sound bytes. Everyone should do his homework.
HarrisonBergeron2 on 15 May 2008 at 12:43 pm #
Step one of “the cure” is to recognize the lines of battle. We have been misled too long by multicult globalists who claim they’re the new champions of conservatism.
The next step is to withdraw consent from an illegitimate regime. Big business and big government are mutually supporting criminal enterprises which we support.
Refuse to support the globalist corporations responsible for importing cheap labor while exporting our jobs. These same megacorporations fund the NAACP, La Raza, and the homosexual lobby.
So don’t shop at the big boxes, which suck the life out of local communities, and don’t let them steal taxpayer subsidies. We have to hit the enemy where it hurts, and that’s in the pocketbook.
If everyone will buy local, eat local, and live local, rather than presuming to exploit and rule the rest of the world, natural communities will restore themselves at home and abroad. That’s the key to renewing our culture and liberty. As Andrew T. says, we need to do our homework, and that means inciting resistance at home.

This is probably off topic but I find the election results of Indiana and West Virginia very interesting.
Similar racial demographics in both states yet Indiana gave Clinton a 2 point win and West Virginia gave Clinton a 40 point win.
The difference, one state is a northern state and one is a southern state.
White southerners are racially aware.
White northerners are racially UNaware.
We not only have a non-white problem, but we also have a yankee problem.
Andrew T. on 15 May 2008 at 8:20 pm #
OMG nonwhites! I’m so scared!
Bruce on 15 May 2008 at 8:32 pm #
Andrew,
If you read the FBI crime statistics you should be scared. Instead you offer no solution to the problem , only sarcasm.
Mock all you want but that does not change the fact that Blacks and Hispanics have much higher violent crime rates than Whites do.

One might add that a very important step is to take their children out of public schools. Not only are the children being dumbed down, but they are taught to laugh at the very JudeoChristian values this country was founded upon.
If you take away their ability to educate the next generation of citizens in their doctreine then you pave the way for future generations to take this country back.
Personally, I am for separation of school and state. To check up on an organization that will give you ammunition on how to do that just go to http://www.schoolandstate.org.
Remember, if you take the ammunition away from the gun then no shot takes place.

That’s correct, Bruce! Bravo! But you left out one important nuance…White crime against Blacks and Latinos is very low compared to Lation and Black crime against whites.

Dr Bob,
You are absolutely right. I’ve given up on the idea of reforming those monsters (schools, that is, not the kids).
All educational sovereignty must be restored to the parents. Homeschooling, church, and private schooling will raise educational standards, as well as helping parents raise better-behaved children.

“Cultural revolution is his one and only goal.”
And yet we’re to vote McCain because Obama would be so much worse… How much worse could Obama really be? McCain is extreme, ubergoober, left-wing. There isn’t anything further left.
Trifkovic has a very good article in the latest issue of Chronicles: “It’s 2028, and All is Well”. It’s told from the perspective of how the US might be… if we win the Culture War.
Paleocon from Canada on 30 May 2008 at 1:56 am #
Any nation that loses its basic cohesiveness and family values will be overrun, and there’s little doubt about it. Just look at what happened to the empires of old. Their decline was consistently preceded with a complete abandonment of basic moral principles and notions of decency.
At one point, I tried to get converted to “pluralism” purely on the basis of Christian ideals, but I eventually found out how one-sided it really is… It’s nothing but a double-standard.
Canada has reached a more advanced stage of the disease known as Multiculturalism, and it’s getting to the point where you can hardly here the official languages being spoken in a typical university or workplace… Immigrants are being actively discouraged from trying to pick up the surrounding language and culture in the name of Multiculturalism. Furthermore, there are very few “practicing” Christians left in my generation, and the remaining ones seem to have accepted almost every tenet of left-wing ideology… They tend to be socialists first, Christians second. Family values are usually the first thing that go out the window. At one point, we had a church discussion about the relevance of Christianity in “the post-Christian era”, and I had the audacity to say that the traditional family is not all about the subjugation of women. That comment caused an outrage! There’s no “culture war” going on here here… Old times here are long forgotten.
However, unassimilated minorities have no such constraints. They have their religions, they have their family values, and they have pride in their respective cultures, and they have no one to apologize to. As a result, all public screens in Montreal’s second largest university are airing nothing but Al Jazeera footage and news from the local Muslim community, and even some of the Muslims (especially Shiites) are now complaining about the entire campus turning into a mosque with non-students using university grounds for their activities. This is in contrast to the Christian fellowship, which resides in a tiny little office that is really, really hard to find. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate the Muslims. I just wish that the Christians weren’t all “gone with the wind”. Since the postmodern lifestyle encourages promiscuity with birth control and abortion being used to shun procreation, those who converted to this ideology just won’t survive beyond a couple of generations while the remaining pro-family Christians will be increasingly stigmatized, which they already are…
Another problem is that today’s society has embraced the concept of “social Darwinism”, where you can have responsibilities to the species as a whole (fight global warming, end poverty, support a gov’t that will do so), but not to the people around you on an individual basis. Betrayal and manipulation are no longer condemned if that’s what it takes to achieve your goals… We are not encouraged to “fend for ourselves” economically (the economy is now the gov’t's responsibility), but when it comes to relationships with people, it’s starting to look more and more like a “deathmatch”… Faithfulness is becoming a relic.
