Democrat Bob Conley is running against Senator Lindsey Graham in South Carolina, but “Flat-top Bob” is selling himself as not your typical New Democrat: he’s against amnesty, against free trade, and against interventionism.
Is he for real or will he prove to be a disappointment like Jim Webb? Regardless, he’s got to be better than Grahamnesty.

No, this guy is totally for real. He is exactly who he says he is. He was once a Republican who got fed up with the Neocon take over and left. He defeated a well-established, Charleston liberal attorney in the Democratic Primary. Bob Conley may be the only genuine paleoconservative running for office this year and if elected the only unquestioned paleoconservative in the entire U.S. Congress. I think everyone needs to get behind this guy and send money. The people running his campaign are solid, experienced, traditional conservatives who know South Carolina politics inside and out. This is a real effort to defead Graham with a real conservative. Trust me, the more you learn about this guy the more you will like him. Check out his webpage and listen to his interviews on YouTube. All he needs is money and he will give Graham the absolute scare of his life.

Ironic isn’t it that it would be a Democrat defeating Lindsay Graham? But that’s why you have the Democratic Party around, even in the South. After all, even an RNC comitteeman couldn’t beat Graham in the GOP primary because Republican parties across the South are becoming political machines designed to help the powers that be. And since most South Carolina Republicans vote establishment, then candidates like Graham feel themselves safe and arrogantly willing to do what they want regardless of their broader constitutency.
If there is a heavy Dem (black) turnout because of Obama and if most white Dems vote straight ticket (meaning they don’t run to Graham out of spite to Conley) and if Conley can grab the 33% of Republicans who voted for Witherspoon, then Conley has a shot and could change the face of Southern politics. This will require some outreach to the black community, but that doesn’t mean compromising on issues like immigration, abortion or foreign policy.

I’m NOT a Republican. I’m a conservative. I voted for Witherspoon. In November, I am going to vote for my FIRST Democrat in my 46 years on this planet. Bob Conley!
I HATE that traitor Lindsey O. Graham (“Grahmnesty”) with a passion and Bob Conley hits almost ALL of my issues right down the line.
I really hope all the rank & file Dems back Conley, or we may never get rid of Lindsey.

Hopefully Chris Cannon’s defeat will Graham that cold-shoulder feeling.

I am from the other S.C. That is Mexican Occupied Southern California.
I am donating to Bob Conley. South Carolina can do the whole U.S. a great service by throwing Graham out and replacing him with a common sense patriot. Forget about party lables. Win this one for all of us.

If rank and file Dems are really serious when they say outsourcing and the war are the two most important positions to them, they have no reason not to vote for Conley. In another week or so, I’m going to post an appeal to liberals on behalf of Conley, that will expand on some of the themes I talked about in my TakiMag piece.

Donate money to Bob Conley for Senate. Lindsey Grahmnasty stood before the Radical group LaRaza (translation “The Race” and called South Carolinians “bigots” for not supporting illegal immigration and amnesty
