Palin Supported Buchanan in ’96!

Posted under Chuck Baldwin & Election 2008

Well, this is certainly in her favor, and may give the neocons pause.

Of course, Chuck Baldwin is still by far the best choice for traditionalists and authentic conservatives.

And Buchanan supported Bush in 04.

Who people supported is often a poor way to guage their politics.

When the choice is a stalwart like Buchanan, a person’s support is a good way to gauge.

Obviously there’s more to a person, but I find this encouraging.

    Dylan Hales,

I like how you, SA, and some others have been playing up McCain’s nutty war mongering rather than Obama’s anti-white ties. There’s a need for balance, and I find it very good that y’all haven’t sold out to the anti-Obama mania.

McCain was an absolute nightmare selection for me. Of the eight or so who were running, McCain was my greatest fear haha. I actually miss Ghouliani now.

McCain is a little Napoleon, and the VP will be dismissed to change diapers once he is elected. The Neocon Machine will then have tutors brainwash her dailey, in the event of a McCain death in office. (We can forget any influence Patrick Buchanan ever had on this woman.) They will mold her into Margaret Thatcher within 18 months, and the people of Alaska will not even recognize her.

As for immigration, what is immigration to an Alaskan?…..(In Alaska immigration means large numbers of hoofed animals doing what they do every season.)………What is affirmative action to an Alaskan? (Those 2 school teachers that went home after their first winter?)

She might as well have been in politics on the moon? McCain will gather his privates that understand that he is all knowing and the “Emperor”. Six months into his reign, his nickname will be “Executive Order”.

Not since Lincoln have we been in such danger!

There’s no way to know how she’ll react, which offers a slender reed of hope. I doubt many are as malleable as frat boy Dubya – she could have firm convictions.

Whatever the case, Baldwin or Bust!

I’m told her husband works two jobs, so there might be a question of whether their recent child will be well cared for. I don’t hold a high opinion of parents who raise their children via nanny. That’s just something to keep an eye open for though.

If anyone thinks that this VP nomination will steal thunder from the movements of Ron Paul or even Bob Bar, they are mistaken. That’s akin to comparing the film “Airplane” to “The Godfather”. Palin is “libertarian” only in a very vague and relative sense, compared to everyone else in Washington. She governed a state that has few sovereignty problems since it is so distant from the mainland US, has few or no immigration problems, doesn’t have the issue of egalitarianism come up very often for its largely uniform demographics, etc. That she can be identified as a soft-softcore libertarian? It’s not impressive.
