Troops, retreat!

Posted under Election 2008

This lad pretty much sums up my feelings toward the laptop bombardiers and their violence-obsessed allies on the day after the spectacular fall of their Beloved Leader’s heir apparent:

Poor Americaneocon has announced he’s suspending his blog and retreating to his Fortress of Solitude for the duration. His blog header is now black to reflect his sullen mood. Poor dear.

These people cheered on a counter-productive, obscenely wasteful war that has wrecked the economy, and can’t understand why voters so soundly rejected a third term of Neocon insanity.

Of course, the real fun begins when Obama, a slick and ruthless manipulator, starts to wield the fun, new powers Bush & Co. have claimed for the Unitary Executive, damn the Constitution.

Payback is hell, ain’t it?

    “Ha-ha!” I like it.

Too bad only the symbol of neocondom has been thrown out.

The neocons will still be with Obama, only now under a different symbol.

Now America and the rest of the world can react against the “left wing” neocon insanity.

Let’s hope the pendulum now swings far enough over to the right, and stays there.

Early this morning, a set of thoughts rather close to the words given
by Harrison, as above, rambled through my sleep-deprived brain. It was not that I lost sleep over the victory of the Irish mobster O’Bama, no, it was the troublesome thought that I had actually voted for McCain.

In the privacy of the voting booth, here in Connecticut, there just was
precious little else for me to do. Baldwin did not make the ballot here.
Barr did not make the ballot here. Jack B. Nimble wasn’t on it, either.

My only alternative choice to voting all Republican was offered in the person of a Green Party candidate for Congress. So, yeah, I voted for him partly because Rosa “the Red” DeLauro is even more odious to me than the Irish mobster and his talking dummy, Joe “Biden” Time.

So yeah, I marked the line for McCain and Palin with a despairing heart.

Actually, over the last few weeks I’ve come to the conclusion that Mrs. Palin must be doing something right — or the talking heads would not be insulting her and verbally assaulting her with so much gusto.

    The swine.

What I do not know, now, today … comes under the heading of “well, what do paleoconservatives and rock-ribbed resistors” do next ??

OK, I must confess that I have no answer to that question.

Looking around, I see that Mr. Namby-pamby, Christopher Shays, finally got dethroned by a complete newbie on the Democratic ticket, a fellow named Himes. He appears to be yet another rich kid playing at polly ticks. Oh well. At least he’s not a sanctimonious RINO wretch.

After two cups of coffee and a few hours to clear my addled pate, I did come to one set of conclusions, to one set of answers to the ultimate question — “What Is To Be Done ?” My decision ?? Mow the lawn.

As the cold of a New England November sets in, the lawn has reached a hibernation point, so I can mulch the falling leaves and call it done.

Maybe there is some apt symbolism in that job of work. Mulch the leaves and call it done. Mainstream conservatism as we know it around here is positively dead. None of our local Republican tax-cutters, running for State assembly seats or senate seats, notched victories.

One nice lady, who is a RINO, representing a couple towns in a nearby State assembly district, was re-elected. That’s about it for us, here.

Rosa “the Red” DeLauro won re-election in a cakewalk. The Green who stood for the district got about five thousand votes. The useful idiot on the GOP line for DeLauro’s congressional district apparently did not have so much as one kopek to spend. There was no TV spot, no radio spot, no flyers delivered by mail, no e-mails from GOP headquarters in the slough called Hartford, not so much as one yard sign. Nothing.

Even H.G. Wells’ “Invisible Man” at least disturbed the falling rain, and left his foot prints in the snow, in that classic fiction. And you wonder why I cannot sleep ?? Maybe tonight will be a better night. Maybe not.

That’s exactly what we have to see about the nature of the enemies of freedom.

Justin Raimondo at AntiWar, after the shock of realizing Obama is the opposite of a liberty and peace candidate, has well documented the O’s ideological and political ties to the War Party Neocons.

Those are our choices in multicult, imperial America — left or right Neocons.

    Richard C. Green,

Thanks for an articulate and heartfelt account of the lousy choices we’re supposed to accept.

Yes, all the doors and windows have been shut and sealed tight. It’s time we consider breaking out of the walls — something in the tradition of the heroes of 1776.

As General Patton studied Rommel, we too can learn from Obama’s grassroots understanding that movements always start at the bottom. Ballot initiatives on a Statewide basis could certainly clog the courts with cases?………….Citizens on a State Level must preasure their State Houses to fight left extremism such as immigration and same sex marriages. Instead of Paleos constantly moving, we should be helping others “WANT TO MOVE”.

South Alabama’s beach communities have been infested with “Cosmopolitans” from the Northeast!…….Once called the “Redneck Riviera”, a place where the middleclass felt a regional pride in, it now has the makings of another South Florida with a voting block of cosmos transplants.(Everywhere you go you here, “This is not the way we did it back home!”)……The Yankee philosophy of “Adjust your culture to comply with my culture” is rampant.

We can NOT save our cultures through Washington!……It has to be at the local level with people getting involved locally……… I’m guilty of being an observer in Classic, Southern, Complaining, Tradition…….But, I will be a member of CofCC within 30 days!!!

Oh yea!…………The politikin is over and the rulling has began? First batter up is Emanual for “Chief Of Staff”. Once a senior Staff Member of the Clinton Administration, he is a ruthless marxist that would have been a joy to Stalin during the purges. In a public meeting shortly after the “Monica Lewinsky Scandal” broke, between Clinton and “Tony the Brit Blair” he told Blair “DON’T F&#K IT UP!”……..Once feeling angry at some other “Civil Servants”, he weilded a large knife at a dinner as each name was called out screaming “Dead!, Dead! as each name was called while stabbing the table!

Meanwhile, “Compassionate Conservatives” of the GOP will be most likely reaching across the aisle to pet a “Pit Bull”?……The “Stupid Party” will be getting their fingers bit off while groveling on their knees for table scraps and moving farther to the left as they beg. :)

Tom Delay’s reason for the loss was “Lack of Money”? Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha ;)

Looks like “regime change” cuts both ways.

Maybe America is just schezofrenic? No, it’s not that. The simple truth of the matter is that America isn’t a country. It is at least two countries. Anyone who says otherwise is delusional. It is long past time to part ways.

  8. Harold Crews on 07 Nov 2008 at 2:36 am #

Actually it looks like the correct term is split personality, not schezofrenia.

There is deep meaning at the “Tower of Babel” regarding diversity and multiculturalism…………The future belongs to homogenious cultures!
