Neocon chickens coming home to roost …

… and many of our formerly enthusiastic cheerleaders for authoritarian liberation are stuck under those roosts, with no umbrella to shield them. Michelle Malkin, to name one example, is horrified at homosexual activists determined to bypass popular will to impose same-sex “marriage” in California, condemning those activists as “unhinged” as they loudly (even violently) protest the Mormon church and other supporters of Proposition 8. And here’s one champion of universal rights in Iraq sputtering about how the homosexual lobby is “straining” the concept of equal rights. Priceless!

Odd, but the homosexual agenda doesn’t see it as a “strain” at all; indeed, they interpret equal rights for homosexuals as the natural progression of the civil rights movement — and aren’t the least bit shy about blasting opponents of same-sex “marriage” as exponents of “hate”:

Can you hear it? It is the Grand Rule of Bigotry, same as it ever was: Prejudice and fanaticism tend to yell loudest and cling on the hardest when they are most threatened, when they know their worldview is slated for imminent demolition.

Just look. As I write these very words, big-money ultraconservatives are joining churches and temples and sad, sad priests nationwide in extolling their fearful throngs to send huge portions of their life savings straight to the gaggle of pro-Prop. 8 extortionists, in an attempt to ban gay marriage and crush what essentially amounts to a type of love they cannot, will not understand it.

Those words must sting, seeing as how the bloggers linked above once cheered on the invasion of Iraq in the name of Bush’s proclaimed principles of “universal liberty” and “the equality and dignity of all people.”

Some of the more frenzied war supporters delighted in brandishing “equality” as a noble cover for their fun little war:

Egalitarianism? Absolute! Belief in human equality especially with respect to social, political, and economic rights and privileges is an all American tradition. Great Satan doesn’t have apartheid, holy blood lines, untouchable castes, tribal affiliation, sacred turf or the enslaved. Great Satan does have an amazing lack of sympathy for nation states that who would promote them – and often utterly destroys (including one especial sucessionary confederation) [He meant "secessionary," as in the South -- a favorite target of State-worshippers -- webmaster] that are jazzed about such played, failed, ammoral, immoral and retarded – in the classic sense too – wicked regimes.

Now, the few war supporters I’ve heard from on this embarrassing topic say something along the lines of, “Oh, we didn’t mean ‘equality’ for homosexuals.” Sorry, but that’s the danger of wielding universal abstractions – they’re intended to be applied everywhere. Andrew Sullivan, who’s worked himself into a lavender rage about Prop 8, and is daily highlighting the effort to have the courts impose same-sex “marriage” on Californians, also welcomed the invasion of Iraq as the beginning of a global war of liberation for homosexuals. Can we blame him for expecting a little consistency?

I would tell those former Neocon enablers they should’ve been a little more far-sighted when they jumped on the warwagon of Iraq “liberation,” but frankly, I’m enjoying watching them cook in the boiling water they helped draw. Besides, they didn’t pay much mind to those of us who warned that the Neocon battle cry of global “creative destruction” didn’t just apply to Muslims, but to our traditional culture as well. The ideology of “universal rights” is a sledgehammer designed and used for destroying traditional society and expanding the power of the central government to advance equality by force.  That’s why the charge of “hate” is hurled at those who resist reconstruction. And that’s why Big Government proponents of all stripes, from leftists like Christopher Hitchens and Hillary Clinton, to rightists like Cal Thomas and Dick Cheney, rapturously embraced the Neocon Wars.

You made your bed, war bloggers. Sleep in it. And don’t blame us for your bad dreams.

Very good points HB2……………………. Living in a Nation that “LOVES” victimology, and the right for anyone to claim it’s perveived blessings, “Affirmative Action” is perhaps the hidden agenda?

Soon, Leviathan will be fining Corporate America for not hitting their mandated affirmative action homosexual hiring decree…..And then out of the closet comes the “Pedaphiles” marching for civil rights.

If both White and Black Christians ever sit down and recognise what is actually driving this destruction of America, expose it, and attack it, much of it would relocate.

    roho,

Of course. It’s just a matter of time before the North American Man/Boy Love Association starts demanding equal rights for their, um, lifestyle.

Where does it end? Next thing you know, even non-Americans will start insisting on the rights of an American citizen.

    Oh, wait a minute …

I heard some homo activist talking recently about how marriage can be between the same or opposite sex, intended to be permanent or temporary, and for many people or only two.

So, even though we were called crazy, the press for polygamy and communal marriage is underway…

The madness simply won’t end in this multicult society. After male couples raising adopted babies is somewhat normalised, the next front will be communal groups raising children. And after that I wonder if it won’t be increased involvement of the state in raising children. Homeschooling and private schools that don’t teach Marxist doctrine could be banned, and then children required to attend kindergarten as young as 3. Hopefully sex ed will wait at least until elementary school… (I wish I were joking).

Make no mistake, the family is the foundation of traditional society, just as the individual is the foundation of liberal society. This is an important front. Any adopted children raised by these gay couples and communes are going to be screwed up so it’s good to protect these children and to make these unnatural unions feel excluded and unwanted, but at the least normal people need to protect their rights to raise their own families in a traditional, normal way. American government and society is becoming increasingly alien and hostile. Normal people are becoming the new freaks and outcasts, so we should be wary of relying on and trusting a government that is waging war against us.

“we should be wary of relying on and trusting a government that is waging war against us.”

If only consistency were your bag.

I don’t recall Ms. Malkin ever saying that we should go to war to promote liberalism.
And as for the idea that she is a neocon, go to Vdare.com

    RonL,

Who said she’s a Neocon? She does write some good pieces over at VDare, but she’s also slavishly supported DC’s insane “wars of liberation.” For example:

    Andrew,

if only understanding were your bag.

Where possible I’ve no qualms about influencing and using the current government, e.g. with protections.

Just the same, black voters often want the government to serve their interests, but they don’t trust the government do they?

Argh that sign the marchers are holding basically spells out what is my opinion the biggest problem facing these United States – egalitarianism gone amok.

No doubt the homo revolution will make great strides under the Obama regime. Just look at us now – here we have Barney Frank, an admitted homosexual, who has a major role in Congress and who is interviewed on TV quite regularly. This matter speaks volumns about the moral and ethical decay that has eaten away at our nation’s soul.

oops – sorry, the above posting was meant for another article.

    Daniel Maxwell,

Egalitarianism is indeed the poison that can wipe out Western civilization. Everywhere it’s imposed, blood is spilled, from the French Revolution, to the Russian, the Chinese, and Cambodian.

We may not see – at least not immediately – such violence as a result of the ongoing mania for equality and tolerance, but the deadening effect on our quality of life is already being felt.
