Maybe he wasn’t robbed after all and maybe the whole thing was a work. Hollyfield gets his money, Valuev agrees not to hurt him too much and the judges agree to give the fight to Valuev. The more you look at the fight the more that makes sense. At least for me. That was not a legitimate contest, it was an exhibition.
Two reasons why MMA is more popular then boxing with 20 to 35 year olds (the new generation).
1) Boxing is corrupt (duh).
2) Commentators are narrow minded stuck up boxing enthusiasts who slander and pick apart the fighters instead of just giving you a play by play. UFC isn’t perfect but at least most of the talk from the mc’s mouths gets you into the fight instead of round after round of talking about negative stuff, great marketing, not.
Are boxing commentators critics or mc’s? Time for a changing of the guard! Or lose out to MMA which it maybe to late.
