How does one respond to the fact that in America, today, we have fallen down the rabbit hole and the characters we meet in the media are even more weired than the Cheshire cat could ever hope to be.

Now you see them, now you don’t. On the surface they make sense, but upon examination, they truly don’t. It definitely is a tea party, populated by Mad Hatters, that no one should be forced to attend.

    Will we ever wake up?

I sometimes think that a complete “Comunications Breakdown” in America would be a blessing?

Americans are hypnotised by the TV. If it failed to work for 30 days, would citizens choose to start thinking again?

Nah, they would just go to the mall and fill that void with consumerism.

    Roho,

the newspapers would fill the void… And on public radio today I heard the Bill and Linda Gates Foundation were prominent supporters…

    There’s no easy solution.

I wonder if Russia did decide to ban those American TV shows it deemed corruptive… We need a Putin to save us from big media and big business. Or of course: cultural secession, though that’d be deemed somehow discriminatory unless living in abject poverty. Maybe that’s why the Scots-Irish living in the Appalachians are poor: they don’t want outsiders getting greedy and moving in.

“Blow up your TV throw away your paper
Go to the country, build you a home
Plant a little garden, eat a lot of peaches
Try an find Jesus on your own,” j.p.
    (just a test message)?
