Solzhenitsyn’s 200 Years Being Translated Into English
Weaver

Posted under Academia & Christianity & Russia

Parts of it can be found at First Word: Solzhenitsyn, 200 years.

Solzhenitsyn wrote:

There cannot be a question upon earth that is unsuited for contemplative discourse among people. To converse broadly and openly is more honest — and in our case it is also indispensable. Alas, mutual grievances have accumulated in both our people’s memories, but if we repress the past, how can we heal them? Until the collective psyche of a people finds its clear outlet in the written word, it can rumble indistinctly or, worse, menacingly…

For many years I postponed this work and would still now be pleased to avert the burden of writing it. But my years are nearing their end, and I feel I must take up this task.

I have never conceded to anyone the right to conceal that which was. Equally, I cannot call for an understanding based on an unjust portrayal of the past. Instead, I call both sides — the Russian and the Jewish — to patient mutual comprehension, to the avowal of their own share of the blame…

Why can’t I access chapter 2 and continue reading “200 Years”?…..Did he end his French to English translation?

He’s in the process of translating it from both the French and German editions. Only Chapter 1 has as yet been completely translated.

the parts at “First Word” are fascinating!

I’m out of printer paper 20 minutes from the closest store that sells it and am at section 5 of Chapter 1. Ugh.

    Lenin? Trotsky? Stalin?

Lenin was only part Jewish. I don’t think Stalin was Jewish – Trotsky was the Jewish hero, and many Jews fled to the US from Russia after Trotsky lost in Mexico.

I saw evidence that Stalin’s true “Georgian” roots were jewess on his mother’s side.(And I read that Lenin was totally confirmed?)

    I’ll try and find it?

Part one was AWESOME!(Imagine all of the wheat production going for vodka distiling to keep the serfs in debt?)

Lenin is totally confirmed to be part Jewish.

Stalin would surprise me, because, if he were Jewish, while you might could argue that as an outsider he was more apt to go to the left, he was a nightmare for the Jews in Russia. So, even if he were of Jewish descent, I’d be very surprised to learn he was loyal to his people.

Solzhenitsyn points out that as the product of a community even secular Jews are the product of Jewish communities, just as the same for every other community – meaning there’s need to figure why such products were produced so that they can be prevented in the future. So, there’s that to consider as well, but again it would need to be shown some reason to believe him part Jewish via descent or faith.

Google comes up with this site’s claim.

So, it looks like there’s a claim… but there’s a belief every bad leader in history has been Jewish too, just as there’s a belief that Jews have never done a single wrong in history.

These topics have political consequences, so there’s a strong motive for people to create propaganda.

If you find what you think is a worthy source, then by all means post it though.

This site is going too far into the unfounded extreme I think, and I hate for Red, Sean, and Mike to get associated with it. I don’t care what’s associated with me, but I don’t think of myself as a writer either.

Intresting Weaver?…………. I have come to the conclusion that the “Elitists Of Zionism” in history, have never taken issue with the sacrifice of the “comon jew” to further their goal of a Zionist State. They actually benefited (IMHO) by increasing antisemitism and it’s awareness, inorder to shape the thinking of the observer. Without “Antisemitics” there can be no “Victim Status” to shape policy.(Just as every Negro now claims his grandfather was a slave.)

There are sites that one must discern as best that one can in the massive evidence that has now been allowed to come forth on the web, but has been suppresed by the publishing houses and jewish controlled media. Another site that offers info that coincides with “200 Years”:

“Jewish Murderers of the Russian Revolution #8″

According to wikipedia, Stalin’s mother wanted him to become a priest.

If there’s a Jewish connection with him, it’d have to be via the people his mother worked for, from wikipedia:

Keke often worked in the houses of rich Jewish traders in Gori, and sometimes took her son along. He was said to have been a smart child and he entertained some of the householders, including David Pismamedov who encouraged the young Stalin to study, and gave him money and books to read.

That could potentially be a mentor-type relationship. It could be interesting to learn what Mr. Pismamedov directed Stalin to read. Did it encourage Stalin to question his faith and become an atheist?

That site you link to… that sounds like Israel Shamir. Those people are leftist Christians who seem to want a world society… which is not necessarily Christian. It could be, but these people talk as if such is the only Christian order… which is surely unfounded. You’re certainly not a globalist – so why trust globalists whom you’ve never met?

There’s no documentation for his claims. I’m certainly not familiar with all those people he’s referencing. Wikipedia’s certainly little better though.

The ideal way to write scholarly material is like Solzhenitsyn: using many quotes, listing sources, and minimising personal interpretations. Allow the readers to make their own conclusions based on the available facts.

In these chaotic and cosmopolitan times, we don’t have trustworthy elders to pass on wisdom. Surely, we have to return to what was believed before the chaos, and then carefully compile the truth of later events on top of it.

A website without documentation is nothing more than a pointer to a possible truth that remains as yet unproven.

Actually, he’s a “messionic jew” converted to Russion Orthodox, and now a preacher, revealing all that he was indoctrinated in by the Talmud training of his youth.(His rare christian conversion from jewry is his passion for others, but i’m not opportunistic at all on that plan.)
