Reg. Baldwin’s article… the New World Order will surely only encompass Europe and its colonies, which are headed for Balkanisation.
Such an empire simply could not unite so many disparate nationalities and religions.

Globalists are scary, communism dreamt of uniting the world under its ideology and killed 60 million Russians, but they’ll only succeed at creating terrible atrocities and damaging real order giving nationalities and religions, not a realised global society, at least as far as I can tell…

It is positively astounding how the left and Buchanan perceive Israel’s latest effort in Gaza. The weapons that libtards are whining about are small diameter bombs. These are highly accurate bombs with 50lb warheads, all designed to focus their destructive power on a limited area. Israel used these to MINIMIZE COLLATERAL DAMAGE. The alternative would be to use 500lb bombs on Israel’s indigenous guided bomb system, resulting in greater civilian casualties.
Of course, the Hamas controlled press operating in Gaza fail to note that many weapons used by Hamas fighters were US made. These were given to the “Palestinian Authority” by the US and Israel.
Of course the country of origin of weapons systems is not something most people understand. One of the most common images was that of Israeli Merkava III and IV tanks lining up to enter Gaza. These are Israeli made weapon systems. As far as I know the only non-Israeli parts are the Rhinemetal 120mm cannons. I saw one schmuck from CNN call these Abrams tanks, as though these were Egyptian or Saudi tanks.
As for the war itself, what Buchanan cannot process is that this was a war for the peace process. It was designed to stop the daily attacks on Israel, allowing the ruling Kadima-Labour junta to be elected on a platform of land for peace. It was also designed to damage Hamas, and allow the non-Islamists from the PLO/Fatah to take over. Of course, being a political war run by liberals, this endeavor was doomed from the start. The goals could not be fully stated, lest the political nature became apparent even to the most dim witted.
Bibi is not the right winger people assume. Netanyahu, who played Eisenhower to the FDR/Truman run of Labour’s Rabin and Peres, legitimized the Oslo process. Netanyahu gave away Hebron and large areas of the West Bank for worthless promises. And for his intransigence in demanding actual reciprocity, the Clinton administration helped Labour in the following elections.

Did you post this or is someone trying to discredit you? The Dolphin submarines have nothing to do with the Hamas armed zodiacs. They are there to conduct SEAL-type raids, threaten the Russian naval forces operating from Syria, and to house nuclear-tipped cruise missiles.
Israel has 13 missile boats and corvettes, and 20 patrol boats.

White phosphorus flares are perfectly legal and even used by the US. In so far as they are used for selective illumination, they are perfectly legal. Stop relying on Islamist and communist propaganda.
And in so far as the UN allowed Hamas to operate in their facilities, while hiring Hamas members and subsidizing their economy, they were not bystanders. Forget targeting Hamas militants, were it up to me the UN would be targeted as a party to the conflict. And if your loyalty were to America and not to hatred of Israel, you would applaud damage to the UN.
Given the amount propoganda and lies facing Israel, they have every right to respond.
