This is a shame. Unless reversed, this spells real trouble for our nation.

An equally important question is whether America is actually nation.

Writers always underestimate the “Silent Majority”.

And there are no atheists in foxholes. One life and death crisis usually cancels out a world of philosophy.

If that don’t work, despair and hopelessness will.

Another 2nd “Great Depression” will put a lot of people back on their knees, and humble the most arrogant. “Consumerism” will go back into it’s pagan closet, and the International Bankers will always provide the poorest someone to blame, and make war with? The rich will get richer, the poor will kill each other, and the churches will fill again with bountiful prayers.

    Roho,

I dunno – I’ve heard stories that WWII was so Hellish that it actually destroyed the faith of some.

In addition to the scale of destruction, no one knew why they were fighting. Which is the same as Iraq and Afghanistan today I’m sure, and Vietnam in the past.

Weaver…….You make a good point. During WWI when the Germans and Brits stpped fighting and celebrated Christmas, even exchanging gifts and playing soccer on the front lines; I often ask “What is this force that can historicaly and consistantly move christians to kill each other”?

I’ve heard some similar stories with regard to WWII, though I dunno if they’re true.

I should probably ask my grandfather before he dies…

Further: Does the status of Jews as “G_d’s Chosen People” within the Judeo-Christian framework provide Jews with a form of immunity that they would not otherwise enjoy?

No true Christian believes Jews are the Chosen today. That would be heresy and nonsensical. Christian leaders today say things like this, but there’s no foundation for such, unless Christ is rejected.

Christians are the new Chosen, and Jews are supposed to convert along with everyone else.

P.S. Why are you all afraid of the Jews?

If I believed all that, I’d be terrified of them. As much as you bring them up, you must be :P

If you want to talk about Jews, here‘s a thread on them.

    Dostoevsky ,

I had hoped that America would lead the west in a new Great Revival. it seems my optimism on America was misplaced. I had assumed New York was the exception, not the rule.

    CaptainChaos,

Jews are committing suicide by lack of religion, and all you can see is Jewish power.
Are you certain you are not a Jew parodying antisemites?

  10. Weaver on 14 Mar 2009 at 4:24 am #

    RonL,

the Jewish right, to the extent it exists, is partly to blame for its past war mongering. Iraq and Lebanon have made Israel unpopular. And involvement in Georgia has too.

Were it not for those conflicts, Israel might be viewed more positively in its current conflict with Palestinians.

    Captainchaos,

you clearly don’t know Ron’s political views. He’s right wing philosophically and on American domestic affairs.

Say, I’ve got a great idea. If there are those who think every last post put up by us here at CHT are wastes of time, then those folks can go start their own website.

If we were all at a bar and somebody were so rude as to constantly and childishly interrupt and derail every last attempt at a conversation, I would punch that somebody in the fucking teeth.

Since this is on cyberspace I don’t have that option. However, since power seems to be the only thing some respond to, I’m going to exercise my power by deleting every deliberate attempt at thread-hijacking which occurs on any of my posts.

Other posters obviously are free to do as they like.

Yes, yes — please feel free to crow and strut about how I have fallen before the onslaught of your irresistible reasoning.

Conversation requires at least a pretense at civility, which in turn means an attempt to show some respect.

A question – as I am relatively unfamiliar with this site. Can anyone initiate a post? If so, how do you go about it? If not, how are those who are permitted to initiate posts selected or qualified?

  14. Dostoevsky on 17 Mar 2009 at 11:21 pm #

    Kirt,

I’ll pass on your interest to the webmaster-person.

Dostoevsky, the above comment got funneled to spam. Maybe because you spammed some of his other comments. I approved it because I think it is important for people to see the anti-Christian hostility that infects a lot of white nats.

“delusions about an obscure Jewish cult that made the big time”

Real nice there CC. You really know how to win friends and influence people. Your own words damn you with serious conservatives. Maybe you and the rest of the anti-Christian conservatives could get together with a group of obese anorexics and discuss cognitive dissonance. Both groups make about as much sense.

Feel free to delete it if you prefer.
