More Apostasy From the Episcopal Church
RedPhillips

Posted under Christianity & Pro-Life

So the Episcopal Church, not happy with just ordaining homosexuals has now appointed an abortion supporter (No this is not hyperbole. She actually SUPPORTS abortion.) to head one of its divinity schools. Funny, I thought they taught the Bible at divinity schools. Apparently not this one.

We should be getting used to this by now I guess. The Episcopal Church seems to be in some sort of race with the Unitarian Universalists for the designation of most mind-numbingly irrelevant religious liberals. They long ago sped past apostasy. (Of course the Unitarian Universalists were founded on apostasy as their name implies, but sadly the Episcopal Church used to claim creedal orthodoxy.)

Ahhh! But the devil is prince of our world and indeed he has infected the Episcopal church, whom, by-the-way, does NOT believe being born-again (Romans 10:9-13) is necessary to receive the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:11) and subsequent salvation in Christ and thus a guaranteed ticket to heaven. Hence, if Episcopals aren’t “saved” and have no Holy Spirit indwelling in them, then they are all susceptible to amoral acceptance of sin (perversion and apostasy against Christ) within its congregation.

Amazing how “God made in Man’s Image” can become!

If you don’t believe in the Bible, and the traditional Christian God-image, isn’t it hypocritical to speak or act as if you do?

It makes me think of the Christian stereotype of manipulative pagan idols Christianity was supposed to be at war with.

Dunno if anyone saw McCarthy’s article on high church conservatism. I personally like the idea of a virtuous high church, but past some point I see little merit in defending an evil institution.

There was once a “Church Bombing” in Birmingham that has been raised to the High Heavens in the name of “Civil Rights”.

Perhaps they bombed the wrong church?

An old saying was that the Episcopal Church was the “Republican Party at prayer.” There are still a few faithful conservatives (political and theological) in the ECUSA; they’re getting rarer by the day.

Hello! My name is Noel and I recently visited The Nativity Epsicopal Church in Dothan, Alabama. Personally, I don’t see where an “Apostasy” is present in this Christian Community because all the Members of this Community are true Christian Brothers and Sisters always ready to help the person in need and to give spiritual support through prayer. Okey, I’m not even Episcopal and I do enjoy attending this Church because I see Jesus in it!! Yes, within the walls of this beautiful Temple of God, I find the presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Remember that Jesus had about 120 close followers and many of them were women. They worked for many years for the purpose of bringing the Word of God to all. not just “Orthodox Christians”. I remember that Pope John Paul II was critzised for visiting The Muslims and The Jews and then the Buddhists and then the Communists and the Australian Aborigenies and all who were willing to listen to the Word of God. God will listen to you if you are pure of heart and all the hate I see is not a sign of God’s Commandments. I invite you all to take some time and Meditate for about an hour and see where you fit in all this and be a better Christian. Accept all.
