Roy Moore for Governor of Alabama
Filmer

Posted under Conservatism & Politics & Polls

Judge Moore may be running for Governor of Alabama. Go here and vote in this poll.

If we can get Moore in Alabama and Ray McBerry in Georgia, then maybe we could establish a conservative beachead against our Social Democrat President and the leftward tend in much of the rest of the country.

On the Democratic side, Artur Davis (A black very liberal Washington Congressman) may be running as well?

I like Judge Moore and voted for him last time.

    Exactly Filmer.
You seem more of a christian/social conservative than Patroon who seems like more of a libertarian.
I know Patroon is from Wisconsin, which is where I currently live, so I realize the northern culture that Patroon is living in, Wisconsin is Catholic and Lutheran and very worldly. I live here but would rather live in the upper south where it is still the bible belt but without all the non-whites, for example Missouri and Kentucky.
Are you Filmer from the south? if so that explains why you seem more socially conservative than patroon.

The potential field of GOP candidates doesn’t look all that daunting to Moore than taking on an incumbent governor. He’s got a good chance of winning this time.

Filmer, what gives? According to God’s Law as laid down in the Holy Bible race mixing is a sin. Better get right with Him and cease to lead the sheep astray.

“And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.” (Gen.28:1)

“When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.” (Deut. 32:8)

“And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them. Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thou daughter shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son… For thou art an holy people.” (Deut. 7:2-3, 6)

    Any questions?

    Captainchaos,

A rabid antisemite using an Isrealite Jewish book to prove a point? Heh, nice.

Not to mention that the passages actually addresses the Israelites and instructs them to not mix with the Gentile nations (or otherwise, to convert them). And not to mention that Christianity holds the bulk of the systemic ordinances of the Pentateuch to be no longer applicable.
