Additional Details from the League of the South Convention

Posted under Sovereignty and Secession & The South

Harrison has humbly left out one detail from this weekend’s League of the South Convention. He, himself, was the recipient of the Rebel Yell Award for vocal and public support of the cause of Southern Independence.

Congratulations Harrison.

CHT was well represented at the Conference. Both Harrison and I were there. We also got an opportunity to meet Chattanoogian Patrick Hall who some here may know from his comments at various paleo websites. Patrick didn’t attend the conference, but he did eat supper with the gang and we infuriated liberals by lighting up an after supper cigar in a local establishment.

And I was pleased to meet Sid Cundiff who has commented here in the past, and is a name that should be well known to anyone who frequented TakiMag back when they allowed comments.

Some may be interested to know that former Constitution Party Presidential nominee Michael Peroutka was in attendance.

I am seeking a report on the H. L. Mencken Club meeting in Baltimore that took place the same evening. If any of our readers can provide us with a report it would be greatly appreciated.

And I too was pleased to meet Red — my fellow partisan in Dixie’s cause.

    Red,

Hey, thanks for that! It was great seeing you in Chattanooga!

But it wasn’t modesty that kept me from mentioning the “Rebel Yell” award. Truth is, I already drank the liquid portion of it ;-)
