Andrew Sullivan, who once rallied his fellow homosexuals to back the illegal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq in the name of “gay liberation,” invokes the sacred image of Abraham Lincoln to argue for the Federal government to legalize same-sex “marriage” in the name of equality. After all, the people of the States have failed miserably, so why shouldn’t the central government take up the cause of “marriage equality”?
Can we fight a foreign war in the name of equality and deny equal rights at home? Looks like those Neocon chickens are coming home to roost — again.

Legalization of sodomite marriage may eventually be approved by referendum – the Maine vote against it was only 53% (last I saw) compared to several states in recent years with votes well over 70%.
As with so many issues, building tolerance takes time. 40 years ago the idea that we would have a colored, communist, muslim president would have been considered absurd. What is next ? Perhaps the next president will be a black married to another black of the same gender who has sworn allegiance to Satan and the UN.

Yes, we’re all frogs in gradually warming waters. But we have to recall it’s our handlers in DC who’re working the temp controls. Their lackeys in Hollywood, the news media, and the government schools constantly reinforce the message of “tolerance,” which urges us to abandon our traditional beliefs and morality for a worldview more useful to the powers that be.

HB,
The “inevitability” of gay marriage is teleological. “Tolerance” = conversion.
I guess that’s obvious though.
