I wrote “repossessed” in the title because of this:

Addressing this issue in a notebook entry of 1808, Samuel Taylor Coleridge writes that humanity “before the Fall [was] possessed of the Heavenly Bacchus”; in our fallen world, however, only “the Bastard Bacchus [of artificial intoxication] comes to [our] Relief.”

I assume the source is honest… Either way, I like the allusion – adds to the mystery of the title.

Google brought me the previous link when I was searching for one to include for Bacchus (some won’t know whom he is). The original title used the word “possessed”.

    Mystery solved :P

One of the comments under the YouTube video says he always talks like this, and it is well known to people in Montana. A speech impediment of sorts. Who knows?

Somewhat, but he’s never this bad in other videos of him. Maybe this is Baucus when excited…

In any job which assumes heavy responsibility, one who appears to be intoxicated on the job should be immediately tested (blood and/or breathalizer) and be TERMINATED for cause – no appeal!

they have the future of this entire nation in their greedy, corrupt hands and they have NO BUSINESS being on the floor if they are in any way “impaired”!

Of course that will never happen…we have a white house and an entire regime out of control – with DAILY gross violations of Constitutional Law – and they should all be IMPEACHED and sentenced for treason (the charge which goes along with gross violations of Oath of Office!) – too bad we no longer have public hangings…that might be a great deterrent to others in the future!
