Professor Gottfried nails it with respect to the phoniness of the tea partiers. James Bovard, coming from a slightly different angle, reaches a similar conclusion in a article in the Christian Science Monitor posted on antiwar.com. About 20% of the tea party movement represents a genuine small government, anti-establishment approach. The rest are the same old militarist liberal big government Republicans we all know and loathe.
