The Father Says it Better Than the Son: Ron Paul on the 1964 Civil Rights Act

Here is Ron Paul’s take on the Civil Rights Act from 2004. He hits all the rights notes – the constitutionality question, the freedom of association question, the law of unintended consequences (quotas) issue, and the commerce clause issue. I wish Rand would have handled the issue as well.

The Pauls are worthless according to a discussion at Chronicles website.

Dr. Fleming does have an odd position, doesn’t he? I don’t think I’ll ever be able to predict what he thinks about anything.

Bill Maher, who considers himself some sort of libertarian pervert, is wary of Rand Paul’s criticism of the Civil Rights Act – not that I watch him regularly. In the past he’d liked Ron Paul, and probably Rand.

That’s a solid reply by Ron.

There is a very obvious double standard. Ins’t it interesting that they make
such a big deal about Rand Paul who gets in trouble for being too honest while
at the same time excusing Connecticut Attorney General Blumenthal for telling
a great big LIE about his “Viet Nam” service and then saying: “No big deal”.

Isn’t it better to trust the too honest candidate over the liar candidate!
