HB, I haven’t really met too many LoS types who are pro-intervention. Non-interventionism seems to be essentially taken for granted among the people I know in those circles. Did the others just all peel off?

    Red Phillips,

Well, actually, they were quite vocal about it. They had their own web site for a while — now long gone. And the ‘net fairly hummed with the passion of our online spats.

So they’re no longer LS types. They’re either Neocons or retired from political activism.

I guess I must have missed out on that great internet debate. Must have had my internet interests focused somewhere else at the time. Like trying to talk sense into the Free Republic crowd. Obviously that was in vane.

    Red Phillips,

I got kicked off FR pretty quickly. The martinet who runs that site can’t handle any deviation from the pro-Israel, pro-war (I’m repeating myself) party line.

Interestingly, the blogger Stogie also got kicked off FR for disputing the Lincoln myth.

    HB2,
Has it occured to you that the world exists outside of the paleocon-neocon dispute?
You attack the “Likkud”, when in is a free market nationalist party. And you quote leftists like Weiss to do it.
    What is conservative about this?

And I ask again, why would a conservative support communusts and Islamists in trying to arm Hamas by breaking a blockade?

What prinicples are you not willing to fudge to attack Israel, as a proxy for attacking neoconservatives?

HB takes a stand. My hat’s off to you.

Rebellion blog will always be popular.

    Ron,

    no one’s anti-Israel. That’s absurd.

    RonL,

I’m not anti-Israel, and I’m not pro-Hamas. I’m anti-interventionism. My point is that DC’s lop-sided support of the Likkud Party is harmful to America.
