    No, and I believe there’ll be more than just two in its place. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if one or more join with kindred spirits of an also soon-to-be-divided Canada.

    I can’t imagine any scenario in which the US splits. There’s no widespread desire for it, and if any one state wanted to go rogue on us they would be quickly crushed.
