Iraq is a bargain!

The pro-war, any-war crowd is glomming onto a Congressional Budget Office report that shows Obama’s ill-fated stimulus has cost more than current appropriations on the ill-fated Iraq War.

Now that’s a devastating argument: “Our boondoggle cost less than your boondoggle!”

Americaneocon gloats:

“And how’s that “stimulus” working out? Well, the worst is yet to come.”

Of course, the same is true of the Iraqi War. von Rumsfeld said it would cost $50 billion, but projected costs, including caring for the horribly wounded, will be closer to $3 trillion.

And that’s not even counting the cost of future reprisals in revenge for what US forces have done to Iraq.

So when do the Iraqis begin construction of George W. Bush Square? They must be mighty grateful to their liberator, who has wrecked the Iraqi nation, including its economy. That project could provide work for Iraq’s 5 million orphans.

I remember “Dubya” claiming that Iraqi Oil would pay for the war……How did we get a bill?

“Dubya’s” chances of a plaza in his name in Iraq are about as good as “Natanyahu” having one in Gaza!……..Richard Perle should be at Guantanamo Prison!

    roho,

And there’s a special place in Hell for the chickenhawks who peddled the lies that got us into this quagmire.

HB2-The other day I criticized you for your views on Beck, today I want to be fair and thank you for your article on America’s involvement in Iraq. It was obvious from the start that the only reason “W” started the war was his dislike for Saddam, and screw the rest of the country. As bad as Saddam was he at least had control of the terrorist’s in Iraq and was the only one in the region that i know of that allowed Christians to worship openly. Now we not only are bogged down in Iraq but in Afganistan as well, I say we get the boys out of both country’s and carpet bomb Afganistan. It’s too late to say I told you so but right now those Trillions would come in handy here at home. The future Generations in Iraq will only see the distruction and loss of life and resent us, even though our Military had the best of intentions. In the future we should allow time to deal with scumbags like Saddam and keep our troops out of the region as it’s impossible for a people who think in the 7th century to act civilized in the 21st.
