This is truly sad, Red, but “that time of life” comes for all of us. I shall truly miss this truly great man.
If ever you’re interested, and also just-in-case you haven’t already seen yourself, check out his Foreword to THE ANTI-FEDERALIST PAPERS: Selected Writings & Speeches, Ed. Bruce Frohnen, Regnery, 1999. In the brief span of only 5 or so pages, he encapsulates “the root” of all our difficulties, and thus at least by implication “the way out.”
I promise you, I for one shall indeed be praying for this great man. Thank you for letting us know. SR

I disagree with Sobran on many, many, many things. But I wish him a speedy and complete recovery.

Joe Sobran is a great American and I am praying for him.

National Review reported that Sobran passed away.
