I used to like Home Depot and would go out of my way to patronize them. When my older brother was working on his Eagle Scout service project, Home Depot provided him with all the materials he needed for free. As a result I was a loyal Home Depot customer. Plus they were headquartered in my home state of Georgia so I had an additional reason to be loyal to them. But since that time Home Depot has morphed into a slavishly PC company.
My first hint of this was when they inserted themselves into our state flag fight here in Georgia. Loyal to mammon before honor, they lobbied to have the Confederate Battle Flag removed from the Georgia state flag because it might be bad for business, and we can’t have that. What is an insignificant thing like loyalty to place and heritage compared to the almighty dollar?
Now they’re sucking up to the homosexual lobby. The American Family Association sends this along:
The Home Depot’s own website shows it embraces the spread of homosexuality, including gay marriage.
On its website, The Home Depot states it “is honored to say we support the following diversity-oriented organizations:” It goes on to list at least three groups which radically support the homosexual marriage agenda in America – The Human Rights Campaign, Out and Equal Workplace Advocates and Diversity Best Practices.
That’s not all!
The Home Depot sanctions its very own homosexual employee group, which receives financial backing by the company, The Home Depot Pride (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender) employee group. The Home Depot marches in numerous gay pride parades and sets up Kids Workshops at gay pride festival events each year (more photos and list of events are available at www.boycottthehomedepot.com).

The Home Depot responded to an annual survey by the Human Rights Campaign. Here’s what the company offers:
- Full health insurance benefits to homosexual employees and “partners.” The Home Depot recognizes two homosexual men who sleep together as “married.”
- Insurance for complete sex-change operations.
- Requires some employees to attend diversity (homosexual acceptance) training.TAKE ACTION1. If you have not done so, sign the Boycott Pledge at BoycottTheHomeDepot.com.
2. Call your local store manager. Let the manager know that you will not be shopping at The Home Depot until the company stops supporting the homosexual agenda. You can find the number here. (click “Store Finder”).
3. Print the paper petition and distribute it at Sunday School and church.
Looks like I’ll be going to Lowes. I wonder if all those NASCAR fans know about Home Depot’s anti-Southern and pro-homosexual shenanigans?

Problem is, Lowe’s is pushing multiculturalism with its bilingual signs, so that’s not really a better option.
Instead, find a local hardware store an buy there no matter the extra drive and cost. We have a couple here in Charlotte, including Blackhawk, an Ace store. There are also True Value stores, which are all locally owned and operated. They’re MUCH more knowledgeable and helpful than the DIY megachains.

While Homo Depot openly supports “gay” pride and allows and even encourages employees to wear special aprons, pins and gear in support of that perverse lifestyle, they fired a man who refused to remove a lapel pin stating “In God we trust” and for bringing his bible to work to read during his luch breaks. I guess if the guy had brought the latest homo rag to read, that would have been perfectly OK with the owners!
Now, I will probably get in trouble for stating this, since so many “conservative” support the outright treasonous agenda of the Jews (they are really Edomites!), but here goes.

Do you know who controls the porn industry? Did you know that the whoring televangelists are paid by the “jews” (they are really Edomites)? Did you know that the Edomite state of “Is-A-Real-Lie” gave John “the fat whore” Hagee a $7.5 MILLION dollar jet?
Beware of those who say they are Judahites, but lie and are of the Synogogue of SATAN. Over and over again we have been warned! Why aren’t you listening?

I’m a conservative, straight, Viet-Nam Vet, and American. The scariest part is that people like you actually exist. I am hoping that your “Savior” will take you up in the Rapture as soon as possible. And if your version of “Heaven” is anything like your ideal America, I hope you all exist there without the rest of us and you can find something about yourselves to hate as much as you hate everything else.

Is there a more cliched PC notion than the idea that any Christian who condemns homosexuality on moral grounds is guilty of hate? Are Christians who condemn adultry on Biblical grounds guilty of hating philanderers? The Bible clearly and unambiguously condemns homosexuality. This is a fact. Your quarrel is not with me and other Christians who are speaking Biblical truth. Your quarrel is with God who wrote the Book. If you don’t like His rules take it up with Him.

Weaver, this is just a familiar PC rhetorical ploy. You might call it escalation. If you condemn homosexuality on clear Biblical grounds they say you hate. Likewise, any condemnation of sin means you think the sinner is “not worthy of living” or other such nonsense.

BTW, Brad, HD is not supporting adulterer pride marches or advocating spousal benefits for mistresses. Homosexuality is the battlefront in the culture war against Christianity and you know it. Don’t act surprised when Christians meet you on the battlefront you have designated.

Fisrt off I’d like to state that the Home Depot does not ecourage its employees to be homosexual but doesn’t discriminate against a lifestyle choice so long as it doesn’t interfere with the work enviroment. I’d also like to point out that MANY of the places that are highering in this day and age have much the same policies as The Home Depot. Yes there are people out there that are homosexual but they are people too and you nor I have any right to judge them as evil or the enemy.
Secondly what you stated about the insurance covering sex change is FALSE as well as the statement that they are required to go to an acceptance class for being homosexual. Honestly where are you getting you’re information it is completely and utterly false.

Wow, this is truly an eye opening bit of comments. I knew there were some ignorant people out there, but this really takes the cake. First of all, stating the GOD wrote the bible, is just plain factually inaccurate. Secondly, the books that made it into the bible were decided by MEN centuries after the death of Jesus. So, whatever it is you think your bible tells you, just know it was written by another man looking to maybe help his fellow man or maybe to manipulate them. Only GOD knows. Given this lack of knowledge, I think you all would do well to follow the one rule that is true in all religions: the golden rule. Do unto others as you would have them to unto you.
