Daily Paul is pushing it. The Paul for Speaker “meme” is starting to pop up all over the internet. This is unlikely to happen to say the least. I don’t even know if Paul is interested in the job, but I don’t see any harm in advocating for it. At the least, Boehner needs a conservative challenger.

Ron Paul for Speaker of the House? Really? Why would true Reagan conservatives want someone who is to the left of Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House?

Nate, I don’t know who you think you are dealing with, but we are not idiots here. We know that Ron Paul is not to the “left” of Pelosi in any meaningful sense. That crap may work at some mainstream conservative sites where anyone who isn’t a reflexive bellicose interventionist is considered a raging liberal, but we are more nuanced than that and understand that wanting to police the globe is actually the leftist impulse.
