This “lip dub” — a music video with people lip-synching to music — was made to promote the Catalan Independence movement. 5,771 people participated, which makes this a world record for a music video. The video has gone viral, with over 630,000 views in just a few days.
It’s enough to make you think that secession is catching on all over the world.
The video, entitled “The Flame,” is in Catalan, but it’s worth watching just to experience the dazzling visuals and the utter joy of these people celebrating their historic culture and proclaiming their determination to make Catalan free. When the closing credits start, the huge crowd sings the Catalan anthem.
Now tell me — what can the dreary conformity of multiculturalism offer compared to this?

Good for them! A people recognizing they are in fact a people – a nation. A shared language, history & culture. Kith & kin not some polyglot of shared geography such as the US has morphed into.

HarrisonBergeron2: Right on man – Right on – on both! Catalonia IS Real, and the EU IS a “mythical beast” – SO IS (the now criminal organization called) THE UNITED STATES, especially its Government.
Brock, there is only one reason something like this “makes you sad”: Because White males HERE don’t “have the balls” TO DO THE SAME.
WE NEED TO COALESCE, ORGANIZE, FOCUS AND ACT. Or we can be “sad” for the rest of our lives.
I don’t know about any of you, but I would rather die in the Honor of combat for my People and my (more than) “deeply held” beliefs, than “live” in this dying-”peace” of dishonor and shame – WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT WE HAVE NOW.
It may already be too late – but if we ACT NOW before it gets ANY WORSE, there may indeed be some hope still – LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED NOVEMBER FIFTH. People KNOW “something is Wrong” and they are not happy about it!
Learn from History – the “young men” may fight the wars, BUT THEY NEED THE OLDER MEN TO LEAD IT. So, WHAT ARE YOU?? Do we have not only the “Wisdom” to lead, BUT THE BALLS TO DO IT??

But why is Catalonian separatism featured and not some Nordic variety? Simple. Any hint of that would inflame the Pavlovian associations implanted in lemmings by the Jews to the effect that the anti-Christ had arrived. Jews hate and fear Nordics with an all-consuming passion as we are really their only competition for world dominance.

RonL, as usual, has a good point. Would this new state be free from the EU?
Moderately sized states are a pleasant ideal: states that can stand on their own free from the EU. Some of these secessionist movements – the result too often is the breakup of moderately sized states. Secession can ironically serve empire (look how otherwise inexplicably Marxist some of these secessionist movements are).
I don’t know about Catalan independence movement – whether it’s a “left wing” (faux) or “right wing” (true) nationalist movement. I certainly don’t approve of Franco’s attempts at homogenising Spain via destroying such nationalities.
Though, yea, you’ve heard all this before.

Another good point by RonL (elsewhere) is on Russia being imperial (though less so than is the US.)
Kuril Islands (resources incl possibly oil / strategic location): should Japan get them or should Russia? I’m inclined to side with Japan even though the white nats might become enraged. Russia appears too imperialistic, and it already lacks the population to defend its vast territory from China. Nationalism can ironically be ideological where foreign nationalists side against empire, even Euro&Asian v. Euro multi-cult empire. Imperialistic China might one day replace the US as the dominant world power – a strong Japan, as well as a strong Russia, could help balance this power.
Of course I’m an outsider, so I don’t want to meddle. It’s just an interesting issue:
Interesting dilemma: what happens to the 19000 Russians living there now? Presumably they’d be granted full citizenship. Kinda tough to give land back after you’ve replaced the previous inhabitants with settlers. The locals there would likely choose Russia over Japan.
Treaty of Saint Petersburg gives the land to Japan. The natives seem to be the Ainu who’ve been partly absorbed into the Japanese ethnicity.

In other words, I’m ethnically American. Nordic pride is fine. Find something going on in Germany or Scandinavia or wherever, and it’ll be posted if it’s not indecent. NS is indecent though.
I’ve posted a Scottish-Canadian article recently and here’s a dumber post by me on Iceland. I feel the same way as in the article, but I’ve read more since then.

Imagine had the Old South been as cock-strong as NS Germany, and not placed such misguided faith in Anglo-Saxon “honor”, what a different world it could be.
One does what one must or be prepared to reap the consequences.
And by the by, I am right about the English being per their genetic baseline more individualistic than are Germans; and, not incidentally, all the rest of it.

Look, I’ll be blunt here: Instead of pickin’ each others’ noses, and tryin’ to kick each other’s asses IN CYBER-SPACE, REALIZE WHAT WE HAVE IN-COMMON, BUILD UPON IT AND LITERALLY PUT IT TO WORK.
Instead of ANY Response to my 09-11-10 Post-Response, where I sugested the same in a little more detail, IT WAS COMPLETELY IGNORED BY YOU LITTLE OLD LADIES, who seem much Happier to whine & complain about each others’ faults & each other’s “thinking” (man, I’m being generous!), THAN IN ACTUALLY “TALKING ABOUT” AND ACTUALLY PLANNING TO DO ANYTHING WITH, AND FOR, WHAT YOU “BELIEVE” IN (Like, discussing plans for a Real World Meeting, maybe in several locations if necessary).
Yeah, CaptainChaos is a little “rough around the edges” and rather undiplomatic, BUT MUCH OF HIS THINKING IS FUNDAMENTALLY CORRECT IF WE WANT TO SURVIVE AND CONTINUE “THE WORLD” THAT LITERALLY MADE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US, AND GAVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US EVERYTHING WE HAD IN THE PAST AND HAVE NOW.
