No doubt disappointed that the “wave” of hate crimes they’d been anticipating didn’t materialize last year (see here and here), the SPLC found what they must see as a nugget of good news in the new FBI report: Attacks against homosexuals are up! Time to update the fundraising letters!
They even used the occasion to issue fatwas against 18 groups, lumping conservative organizations that work to preserve traditional marriage with the obsessed wackos of the Westboro Baptist Church, who insult military families. But they’re all to be shunned as “hate groups.” The Secular Inquisition has spoken!
Odd thing is, there are no black churches mentioned. If you want to see homosexuality condemned loudly and thoroughly, ask your typical black minister or reverend. (Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton being notable exceptions.) Activists for same-sex “marriage” recognize this; Andrew Sullivan brands blacks as “the most homophobic racial group in America.”
Also, the SPLC admits that certain immigrant groups are violently anti-homosexual. In the same report, Heidi Beirich says:
Anti-gay “murder music,” a style of music that features lyrics advocating the murder of homosexuals and is growing in popularity far beyond its native Jamaica, is also described.
Will the SPLC add black religious organizations to its list of “homophobic haters,” or go on record as opposing the immigration of ethnic groups that threaten native-born Americans who are homosexual? Stay tuned.

True! However, there’s “hate,” and then there’s “Hate.” For example, Uncle Tim Wise can wish death on Whites, and that’s not hate, according to the SPLC.

Half of the attacks on homosexuals in NYC were committed by Blacks. (Not to mention that Black Staten Islanders beating up illegal alien day laborerers.) SPLC doesn’t find these facts newsworthy.

The SPLC Jews do not give a damn about negroes, or any of the other assorted detritus they feign concern for. All that is but protective coloring, and a battering ram, to morally disarm and bludgeon Whites with. What they care about is the genetic annihilation of the White race. None of you, now, be fool enough to believe they do not think of their pursuits in any but those precise terms. And accordingly, any moral consideration you would be inclined to grant them which you would not extend to a particularly noxious strain of bacteria is in vain. But wait, they have “souls”, we must hold out hope they will come to their senses and find the Lord (LOL!).

Dees, Levin, and Cohen discovered a scam that makes them rich. They’re just playing the system. Can you imagine an opponent living in Spartan austerity, wasting no actions in its singular mission to destroy? The SPLC just wants money haha.
It still has a big impact, but things could be much worse.

I went a little far. The SPLC cares and is dedicated somewhat. But they’re soft and incompetent too. The CofCC laughs at them, Old Rebel laughs – the SPLC is a joke. Supposedly they don’t do much real research – they just check a few websites and create a work of fiction from that.

As Christians those here may find it fruitful to think of it this way: The Old Testament can be read as a morality tale of a people chosen to manifest God’s high law on earth. Something they in many instances failed miserably to do. They ostensibly preferred to turn said into justification for a low and grubby materialism. C.S. Lewis himself affirmed the idea of Jews as God’s chosen vehicle to mold implacably to the dictates of his law. Merely a vehicle, and poignant example because of their wickedness. And a vehicle Christians are bound to believe has now been abandoned in temporal history, though logically this was a forgone conclusion eternally – otherwise they worship not God but the Jews. What shame can there then be in taking your fellow Christians by the scruff of the neck and upbraiding them for their rankest heresy? Other than a concern for one’s own self-preservation, a concern I do not disprivileged, none that I see.

Yea, Christians are the present-day Jews. However, there are also Christian Hebrews.
I’m also proud to be Celtic. We converted readily, or well readily over centuries. The faith wasn’t spread through us via the sword as it was by Charlemagne, or if it was we don’t remember it. The Germans though resisted to the end, which is perhaps commendable in its own way.
I don’t buy that the Indo-Aryan religions that preceded Christianity were pure evil either. The Slavs for example saw Christianity as part of their own religion; the two fit together (and it wasn’t Buddhism which is spiritual death).
