In other totally unexpected news, survivors of the USS Liberty will not hold their annual convention in Tel Aviv, the United Daughters of the Confederacy just announced Ed Sebesta won’t be their keynote speaker, and the SPCA doesn’t plan on selling Michael Vick tee shirts.

The boy is fixated. He’s tried getting a statue of Robert E. Lee removed in Dallas. To Sebesta, the South is the source of all evil in America. His obsessive hatred of all things Southern reminds me of an observation by H. G. Wells: “Moral indignation is jealousy with a halo.”

Oh, but he is. In honoring Lee, we honor the Cause he served. In understanding that Cause, we begin to see how the central government has corrupted the vision of our Founding and Confederate forefathers.
That goes to the heart of the legitimacy of the ruling class.

You make an excellent point and are right, but he sets such a high, model example for others to follow that it seems he’d be too valuable not to integrate into their mythology – something like a good man born into a bad society.
Groups that study Lee will only be strengthened by his example, and the left doesn’t really have any heroes who can compare – theirs seem to all be invented myths. Lee was the real thing.

Like like Dannie Boy Quayle, Dick less Chaney, Joe [Israel First] Momentum / Liebermann, Edwards, and both ‘Room Temperature IQ’ Palin, and ‘Establishment Insider’ Joseph Biden, it is, including LBJ with JFK and Agnew with Nixon, like the top of the ticket is buying physical protection from the bottom of the ticket.
Any comments on Newt (Lizard) Gingrinch and his horrible bed side manner with his first spouse? Also JFK and FDR and McCain?
