A website specifically devoted to defeating Lindsey Grah-amnesty. (Limbaugh calls him Grah-amnesty. Pretty clever, I think.)

I’ve responded to your comments on my page. I’m moving on from this debate. Tuggle talks of echo chambers, but isn’t that what’s going on here? I appreciate your civility, though. You’re welcomed to comment and share your positions on my posts (again, with a civil tone), but no more hegemonic ideological debates. I’m comfortable in my views, and I’m surprised by some of the vitriol that’s come out lately.

Lindsey Graham must be defeated in the next election. It is obvious to us in SC that his policies are directly against what the majority of his constituents want. But because of his big business backers and his big war chest, he feels that he can’t be defeated. We must band together and show him how wrong he is. When it comes to the Illegal Immigration issue, he has totally defied the wishes of the voters of SC. And if he is allowed to continue in his defiance, what else will he be able to achieve. And because we disagreed with him on this issue he called us “Bigots”. But of course that was whie he was receiving an award from the biggest racist group in America today, LaRaza, who by the way helped write the new legislation. S 1639 must be defeated or we face the destruction of America as we know it. Mr Graham needs to be shown the door, we need a new Senator that will listen to what the voters want, not what big business pays for!

Lady M, I couldn’t have said it better!
Sen. DeMint on the Lou Dobbs show the other night said his phonecalls and e-mails are running about “95% against this amnesty bill.”
Graham just doesn’t LISTEN to The People like De Mint does.
Either Lindsey Graham is just plain stupid or he’s corrupt.
I understand that a lot of his money comes from the big homebuilders in the state who want to continue breaking our immigration laws.
Lindsey should start wearing a white suit and big white hat like “Boss Hogg”.
Last year he was worried about his “greens fees” going up for golf if the golf courses didn’t have enough cheap illegal alien labor!
This guy is so out of touch with the People in this state he’s become a characture of himself!
I’ll be glad to join that group.
I’m going to make up some bumperstickers. Green, red and white like the Mexican flag colors, “Deport Lindsey Graham!”
Let’s just see if the “Hispanic vote” saves him in 2008!
People here in the Myrtle Beach area are incensed with him!
Just another “Bigot” in Myrtle Beach, popeye1250 on “y”

Tom, you’re from Myrtle Beach? I’d love to see Mark McBride challenge Graham in 2008! Have you heard anything from him lately?

I am very afraid the South Carolina Repubican Party as well as the
national party will continue to support Grahamnesty.

There are some wonderful conservatives that need to be encouraged.

    Gresham Barrett, congressman

Trey Gowdy, bright, courageous, articulate, solicitor from
    Spartanburg

These people need some support. Business will send their money to
whomever they think will win. Once the numbers come in Linsey
    will be gone.

Please call, offer your physical and financial support.

Graham’s defeat would send a tremendous message that the people of the United States are reasserting their right to a government “by the people”, and that they refuse to allow politicians “of, by, and for the wealthy fat cats who put their own short-term profits above the public interest” to continue to run this country.
