The Queer Lobby
Bede

Posted under Christianity & Judicial Activism & Neoliberals & Political Correctness

“Homosexuals picture themselves as on the defensive. They claim they are discriminated against. In fact, they are on the offensive. Their lobby has evolved into one of the more powerful lobbies in the country. They are dangerous, not because what they believe is wrong, but because they put fear in the hearts of legislators of both parties. And they deliver.” ~ Paul Weyrich

Just as the third-world invaders want to destroy the real West, so the queer lobby wants to destroy one of the oldest institutions known to man: the natural marriage.

What I’d like to know is this: WHY are Christians, in fact all God-fearing citizens of the world, cowering in the face of this attack against morality?!! Homosexuality is a sin, according to Scripture – yet far too many preachers, pastors, etc. are afraid to preach against it for fear of being charged with “hate crimes”! WHERE are the STRONG, God-fearing believers who are willing to stand up and be counted against this travesty of everything that is moral? what are we doing to our children? What are they learning from this overall acceptance?

I have to believe that God has special plans for those among us who are failing in our duty to preach against homosexuality! Yes, God is Merciful. But He is merciful to those who obey Him and His Commandments! He is Merciful to those who will stand for Him, rather than cower in a corner when faced with the spread of immorality!

This country was founded upon strong Judeo-Christian principles – and many of the founders, themselves, stated that without God, without morality, this nation would not stand! WE, THE PEOPLE are failing in that exhortation of the founders when they stated (in the Declaration of Independence) “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government.” According to those strong beliefs of the founders, many now in government are, in fact, despots – for they are working to destroy that governance as was founded in 1776 – and are instituting instead a Socialized, more Totalitarian government. And all the while, far too many of us – of WE, THE PEOPLE, are so ‘busy’ with our every day lives, so set in our own selfish ways, that we can’t be bothered to even pay heed to what is being done TO us!

WAKE UP AMERICA! RECLAIM THAT GOVERNMENT! THOSE IN WASHINGTON (AND IN STATE GOVERNMENTS, of course!) are supposed to be governing ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE! It is NOT the Will of the People – when homosexuals are such a small percentage of our total – but by sitting back and allowing it to happen, we are just as guilty in the Eye of the Lord as those who are ‘officially’ allowing this to happen!

    Amen to that!
And this is one of the biggest reason Ron Paul isn’t my number 1 candidate, he voted against the federal marriage amendment.
Also in the past he had a poor voting record on immigration.
Some Ron Paul supporters are overlooking and forgiving him for his past poor voting record on immigration, and on the other hand won’t overlook/forgive poor voting records of other candidates, sounds like a double standard, one should not overlook/forgive ANYONE for their poor voting record.
That’s why I support Tancredo, his voting record on God issues is flawless, not to mention immigration voting record being flawless also.
Same goes for Hunter, but Hunter seems pro-war, which to me, is not as important as God and Race issues.
My stance on the war is use full force or leave it alone, don’t engage in a politically correct never ending war.

    1) Tancredo – Flawless
    2) Hunter – Very pro-war
    3) Paul – Poor God and Race voting record

“Just as the third-world invaders want to destroy the real West, so the queer lobby wants to destroy one of the oldest institutions known to man: the natural marriage.”

I have heard folk say this before.

    (1) All those that says this knows nothing, and I mean nothing,, about marriage. They arrogantly and blasphemously assume they were born with all knowledge and knowing everything.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS NATURAL MARRIAGE. The nature of heterosexual marriage has constantly changed over the centuries. Marriage today is totally different from the different forms of marriage 50 years ago, 100 ears ago, 1000 years ago, 2000 years ago, etc. And here I am merely talking about Europe. Marriage in Asia similarly has changed over the years.

Go your local library and put search terms such as “medieval marriage” and “ancient marriage” into the cataloge’s search engine. Do the same at Google and Amazon.com.

    (2) No one that says this either (a) presents any logical reason why two women marrying should in any way harm heterosexual marriage or (b) presents any evidence of any kind that there is any harm.

In other words, they are simply presenting emotional prejudices based on total ignorance of the facts.

Jan, is the fact that God explicitly condemns homosexuality an “emotional prejudice?”

Perhaps it is not “ignorance of the facts” but knowledge of the Bible that leads people to condemn homosexual unions.
