He saw the writing on the wall and wanted to get with the winning team, or at least defuse the issue against him. At least McCain stuck to his guns even though he’ll go down to defeat. That I can respect. Brownback? Pathetic. Voting against the bill won’t change the fact he’s been for open borders for years, is a pawn of the food processing industry and has turned southwest Kansas into dumping groud for illegals working in meatpacking plants.
