Ha! I dare my anti-birther critics to call Buchanan names. You know why Buchanan says Obama should just release his long form birth certificate? Because it is the common sense position. Notice the liberal host and the liberal commentator falling all over themselves with their pathetic apologia. Do you really want to be like the deliberately incurious Bill Press? “Move along. Nothing to see here.” Or do you have natural curiosity like that displayed by Pat Buchanan? The choice is yours.

Good for Pat!….I want to see it, as well as school grades, and health records? (What’s up with the four inch scar behind his left ear?) Nobody spends $2 million of his own money to keep a secret, unless it’s an ugly one!

The irony of it all.
Buchanan facing off with two lost at sea liberals posing the simplest of questions once again & is diverted (manipulated) worse than a NYC cab driver making his day end quota.
Buchanan: “I, like Romney believe Obama was born in Hawaii but why doesn’t he just stop toying with the American public & show the long form BC? Why doesn’t the WH press corp simply ask him Mr. President, where is your formal BC? It is the height of arrogance that he chooses not to.”
Bill Press: “Well, I happen to be a member of the WH press & there are too many other important issues to focus on realizing this entire birther thingy is a non issue.” Another non answer skip to my lou ploy to dance around a simple truth Mr. Press.
Cenk Uygur confronting Buchanan: The “fear factor” comes into play now asking Buchanan, “why question this & possibly cost yourself a general election?” C’mon Uygur, again, is this an answer? Inserting an irrelevant “what if” into a Q&A session is not only weak but an act of desperation to leap frog your entire subject matter.
Press & Uygur then turn to one another for validation/corroboration of how misguided & fruity the birthers are for following up on the mystery of the decade. Again, no straightforward answer of the original question. Another weak attempt to misdirect the original theme.
Press takes the last jab calling the birthers “fringe & ridiculous” but stays far away from any other logic outside of the suspicious evidence Obama & Hawaii officials have designated as proof positive.
The irony I spoke of? The one absolute in this twisted & convoluted attempt at a presidency that could be answered in no uncertain terms is the one answer being refused in it’s entirety to a solid number of American citizens who demand a dignified answer. ‘
Yes Mr. Press, there are far more important issues to be confronted than anytime in recent history & it’s implausible that you neither find it appropriate to “press” the issue or you consider your explanation a vast number of “frustrated legal citizens” are ridiculous sums up the entire equation. ‘
As a conservative, is it safe to say any valid questions you may find important in the future I can simply reply,, ridiculous!
Will you accept that?

1. Whenever socialists/communists/whatevers say that the Republican Party must drop strategy X and go with Y, if it wants to win, you know they believe the opposite. These mopes are scared of this “non-issue.”
2. Donald Trump is an obnoxious moron, but for once in his life his narcissism has served the public weal.
3. As I showed in August 2008, “Obama” was likely legally ineligible to run, and is likely presently unqualified to occupy the White House, due to his having run under a false name, and having dual US-Indonesian citizenship.

Exactly Bobby. And don’t you love the liberals trying to help us out with general election advice? The fact that they so desperately want us to drop the subject, for our own good of course, shows that they are really scared there may actually be some there there.

Incredible circumstances indeed Red.
It’s understandable many choose the high road with safe distance from this issue. Uygur actually validated a comment I made earlier on your thread saying, “there’s basically been a memo sent out to all Republicans telling them to run away from this.” In my comments I used “directive” that it was expedient to skirt this political IED for possible reasons unknown to the general public but also to save the nation a lot of pain & embarrassment.
I’m just confused what is happening to us collectively as a nation when partisanship/ideals divide us from the simplest of truths. How is it possible to resolve or make progress again until a simple consensus on major issues become centralized/moderate. Total refusal is not an axiom of moderation nor transparency.
It’s confusing we don’t have a President willing to passify tens of millions of solidified queries so as Mr. Press & Buchanan says, “we can go on with the business at hand.” Has the office taken on a less serious role?
Is this a rope-a-dope with a larger insidious purpose? Is Obama purposely casting doubt in hopes of making some look stupid? On a personal level this is unprecedented.
I know one thing only, it lacks of integrity & wreaks of gamesmanship which are both low on my approval rating as to whom I support to lead this nation.
Truth is not always absolute due to interpretation but this one has more gray area in between that voids my capacity to reason, it’s all quirky to me. It’s unacceptable & for once I insist on being passified.
My largest fear is we become trivial, desensitized & enraged vs. one another believing there is little importance in matters such as this.
Much thanks for “not dropping the subject.” I’ll gladly relinquish what’s good for me in lieu of firm conviction.

Bobby and Nicholas, Washington is a very hard place to keep a secret. I wonder if some of the press corp actually know what he is hiding.
It is not the place of the press corp to decide that there are “more important issues.” It is their job to follow leads wherever they take them. There were more important issues than how many mistresses Tiger Woods had, but they followed the story because people wanted to know.
The American public should be DEMANDING answers. That only a certain niche is, with all due respect to Kirt and Patroon and our other skeptics, doesn’t speak well of our body politic. If they will sit still while there are serious questions about the background of the President, what else will they sit still for?
Speaking of Tiger, it wouldn’t surprise me if The National Enquirer ends up crashing this house of cards, because of their willingness to spread some money around. They were all over the John Edwards story while the rest of the press was looking the other way.

“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.” [USA Today, 7/28/09; Hawaii Department of Health press release, 7/27/09] ”
Move on, Move on, nothing to see here folks.
RedPhillips on 24 Apr 2011 at 7:52 pm #
jimi, that is admittedly something. It’s not nothing. But first of all, are we really supposed to take the word of one bureaucrat as definitive? If this is true and there is “nothing to see here” then there is no good reason Obama shouldn’t just release it. Second, this second statement by Dr. Fukino was necessitated by the cryptic nature of her first statement. The second statement was still notable for what it did not say. Did it say BO Sr. was his daddy? Was it the born in a hospital and signed by a Dr. type of long form or the attested to type of original that Hawaii allowed at the time? Did it make note of his official adoption by his step dad? If he was adopted by his step dad and became an Indonesian citizen then it is not for Dr. Fukino to decide if he meets the criteria for natural born.
So excuse me if I refuse to “move on.” I’ll believe there is “nothing to see here” when I see it and his other concealed records and not before. Because I am a naturally curious fellow who wants answers and will not be satisfied by cryptic announcements from bureaucrats or assurances from establishment shills in the MSM.
There is NO GOOD REASON Obama shouldn’t release his long form (unless he is hiding something). This is not a debatable statement! Period!
