I’m glad he is in so he will be present at the debates raising some issues that need to be raised.
I don’t think he has any chance at the nomination, let alone the presidency however. Let’s face it, he’s up there in years and just doesn’t have the right charisma. Sadly, that’s a big problem in today’s mass-media based demo/idiocracy.
I have yet to see any candidate that would be close to acceptable for me politically and yet also electable.

Woden, I don’t think Paul can win the nomination or the general. The people just aren’t ready for strict constitutionalism yet. But primaries can also be about advancing ideas. You have to start somewhere.
There are already plenty of people making pragmatic political calculations. Let them have their pragmatism. Somebody needs to get behind ideas candidates. Why not us?

I’m glad Paul will be there to oppose war mongering, trade deals, and the Federal Reserve.
Ideally I’d like to see an anti-immigration / America-First trader / anti-absurd wars candidate up there pushing ideas.
