Wishing Prince William & Ms. Kate Middleton Happiness!

Posted under Culture

Many people on the Left are quite beside themselves criticizing the royal wedding. And adding insult to injury, Prince William did not invite the Affirmative Action King of the World to the wedding. (A wise decision, in my estimation.  Do you really want an insecure megalomaniac trying to steal the spotlight talking about how “interesting” he is to anyone bored enough to listen?)

Although the aristocracy may not be what it once was (see my thoughts on aristocracy), people of the European Diaspora generally are still fascinated by the idea of royality. Outside of the UK tomorrow in democratic (read managerial/therapeutic) states, the eyes of most people with English blood in their veins will be turned toward Albion.  Like the prick of a needle, perhaps it’s a reminder of the West that once was.

May His and Her Royal Highness, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have a memorable wedding ceremony tomorrow (and some privacy from the media afterwards)!

I certainly hope His and Her Royal Highness, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, tidings of joy and plenty on the occurrence of their wedding. However what is the point of following the Royal Wedding? The German imports sit pretty as the UK loses its sovereignty and heritage. They smiled as LAbour purposely imported aliens for political reasons and to end unity and common culture in the UK. The titular head of the Church of England sits on her powdered behind as the Church becomes a gay multicultural dead zone.

A person with any sense of honor would speak up, even at the risk of Parliament sending in troops.

A shame they didn’t request another bishop.

I also wish them all the best. But doesn’t it seem to be a contradiction that this site of so-called American traditionalist constitutional conservatives, has such a soft heart for the monarchy?

You’ll notice Prince William was wearing the uniform of an Irish Guardsman.

There are lots of royal families in the world but none could command an audience of 2 billion with “B” world wide for TV broadcast of a wedding. This is what makes the British monarchy so relevant and such a unifying force for the English-speaking world from Asia, to Africa, to Americas and the Pacific.

By the way, neither Tony Blair or Gordon Brown were invited to the ceremony. Good for the royals!
