Posted under Affirmative Action & Race & Ron Paul
I remember Princeton scholar Cornel West asking on a radio show “How many blacks have go down for Obama?” This was after the whole Shirley Sherrod brouhahah (actually she’s now back working for the USDA) and it’s an interesting question. West of course is taking a lot of heat on the Left for basically describing Obama as a “corporate puppet” which is something you’ll hear here and websites like Lew Rockwell.com and The New American.
Not that West is becoming a conservative but the attention and reaction he’s receiving is good demonstration of what the term “closing ranks” means. Those outside the fortress had better learn what the word “Incoming!” means.
In such West could commiserate with Ron Paul, because even though Paul is probably the only Republican who be willing to actually help African-Americans instead of just being a symbol (and according to West not a very “black” one at that) by calling off the Federal War on Drugs and prevent blacks who join the military from being cannon fodder for the Empire, those who surround and protect the President within the castle walls will make sure RP’s message never gets inside.
If Paul does well then certainly the infamous “newsletters” and his lack of fealty to the shibboleth of the 1964 Civil Rights Act in a phony concern of retroactive voting, plus some other things, will be brought up again and again just to others on the Left who might be attracted to Paul on certain issues, at least to offer a protest vote since the white Left has no intention of challenging Obama’s nomination from the Democratic Party. It is not doing so largely because of race. So the far Left sits trapped, wedded to Presidency it cannot overthrown but cannot influence. Those who might have an interest in Paul will be branded racists by the same persons even if they cannot admit to themselves that because of race they must be silent as Obama rules.
There are a lot more contradictions race brings out in the Left (such as in France where the Left deals with immigration through censorship rather than at the border, showing what they really feel about freedom of speech) in comparison to the “values” it supposedly believes in. Free speech is shackled by political correctness, economic justice by unlimited immigration, peace by the terrorists within, feminism and homosexual rights by tolerance of more socially conservative (Islamic) immigrant cultures. It easy to attack outside the fortress but it doesn’t strengthen the foundation from the rot of hypocrisy.

“…by calling off the Federal War on Drugs and prevent[ing] blacks who join the military from being cannon fodder for the Empire.”
The idea that the legalization (or decriminalization) of drugs will somehow result in a happy society is naive. If the majority of citizens were white, and properly civilized, only a small group would ever use street drugs, and it would not be a problem. As the country becomes more Third World, the use of drugs will increase and essentially rot the cities (cities are where minorities and reprobate whites congregate). This is not to argue that our current method of “attacking” the drug problem is helpful, or that it is more than simply a corrupt affair from top to bottom.
Secondly, blacks are hardly ever on the “front lines” being shot. Most combat troops are white. This, again, is not meant as an argument in favor of our neoconservative-liberal “wars without end,” but only offered as a fact. To somehow think that blacks are selflessly “fighting the good fight,” and are hence “cannon fodder” is at best urban legend. Most blacks fill support jobs that are more suited to their cognitive ability and general adaptive skills.

If I may, please;
America I beg of You. Look into Ron Paul’s issues. This guys is as genuine as they come. Mr. Ron Paul is the American system working, literally handing us the “right guy.”
He puts his nation/Constitution first before himself as his 22 year track record indicates.
Please, Mr. Ron Paul for Republican Nomination and then President 2012.
Thank You

How many black votes Ron Paul can get is irrelevant unless he gets the Republican nomination since few blacks vote in the Republican primaries. And he is very unlikely to get the Republican nomination, although he may have a theorietical chance due to what seems to be the implosion of the repub field.
Still he needs a minimally competent campaign even to be worthwhile as an educational ideas candidate and so far I regret to say I have not seen that. His website, while having instructions for one at a time contributions, lacks any for regular monthly contributions charged to a credit card. They had that in ’08 and I took advantage of it. I sent emails to two different email addresses to inquire and both bounced. And there is no information phone number to call.
Money matters in political campaigns – and small donors are especially important to someone like Ron Paul. He’s not a plutocrat like Romney and even Romney is dwarfed by Obama, the godzilla of all fund raisers. If RP’s national staff can’t run a national campaign, his local supporters may well want to ask themselves if even at an educational level their money might be better spent on other things.
As far as black participation in the wars of empire, Andrew Bacevich pointed out how black volunteering for the armed forces had declined sharply during the Bush regime and I have not heard that it has picked up again since BHO became emperor. If indeed blacks are staying out of the armed forces altogether or concentrating on the support jobs while leaving whites to volunteer for combat, I commend the blacks on their good sense. Those who consider whites to be so much more intelligent should perhaps re-examine their premises.

“I commend the blacks on their good sense.”
Whatever the reason, one can be assured that “good sense” is not on the short list.

“prevent blacks who join the military from being cannon fodder for the Empire”
Statistically, white males in general, and southern white males in particular, are the biggest casualties in our recent wars of empire. See:

Corness West is correct that Obama is a corporate puppet — or, more accurately, an affirmative action corporate puppet. (Just look at all the people on the Obama administration from Goldman Sachs.)
West is criticizing Obama now to try to steer him in the direction West desires. It’s the same as La Raza types saying they won’t vote for Obama unless he tries to pass amnesty.
Despite the rhetoric, come 2012, I bet West and La Raza types will again be supporting Obama. Even if Obama doesn’t pursue all the policies they desire, they recognize the symbolic importance of having a non-white president.

Please, if I may,
“IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT RON PAUL CAN WIN 2012!” Here are some non “Paul” polls from different media outlets showing that only Mr. Ron Paul has a shot to contend with Obama 2012, and they are actually nearly dead even.

Constitutionally, legislatively, and morally, Ron Paul has no equal. His 22 year voting record speaks for itself.
Please help give America back Her Constitution.

I have many friends who agree with Ron Paul on the issues but refuse to vote for him because ” he can’t win.”
If everyone who agrees with Ron Paul”s message of liberty and limited government will vote for him, Ron Paul can win !
I don’t want another Bush-Dole – McCain republican nominated.
I am voting for Ron Paul.
